Are you saying Mexico is paying Bush in some way, monitarily? That is probably as reasonable as any to explain inexplicable political behavior. Bush has a hubris, a pride problem. I saw that the day after his election to the second term. He said, “I have political capitol and I plan to spend it.” I can understand him thinking that, but it take refractory perceptions to actually say it to the camera. I was hoping that capitol would be used to promote conservative ideas....silly me.

“This bill was misunderstood”..”is misreported”....

The public understood the bill and its consequences well enough. By handing us this BS, Feinstein is being condescending, as are many people in the Senate. This whole bill is being sold as another “We know what’s good for you” program. It doesn’t help the country or the public, it helps the politicians.
