Are you saying Mexico is paying Bush in some way, monitarily? That is probably as reasonable as any to explain inexplicable political behavior. Bush has a hubris, a pride problem. I saw that the day after his election to the second term. He said, “I have political capitol and I plan to spend it.” I can understand him thinking that, but it take refractory perceptions to actually say it to the camera. I was hoping that capitol would be used to promote conservative ideas....silly me.

This is all about the hiring of cheap labor.

All the other crap about the poor and downtrodden of Mexico just deserving a better life is a pant load.

They sure don't want the poor and downtrodden of our own citizens to make a living wage.

American citzen/workers are just expensive overhead who deserve to be thrown under the bus so cheap illegals can be hired at lower wages.

Big donors support the continuing flood of cheap labor. They don't want the feds raiding their establishments and sending their cheap help back to Mexico.

Big donors are paying the Senators to open the flood gates to all illegals. It's unvarnished corruption...a massive payoff. Campaign money is being exchanged for Senate votes.
