Just thought that this would be of interest to Duncan Hunter supporters.
I was just watching Hannity and Colmes and Sean Hannity asked her who she supports for president. She replied "Duncan Hunter". Sean said, "But do you really think that he can win?". Ann then said that he might win if Sean Hannity would actually talk about him on his show.
I'm glad that Ann called Hannity on this. He has been hyping Giuliani for the past few months while ignoring the true conservative in the race.
I disagree-— security is only a part of his “fair trade” agenda-— that was why he voted to get America out of the WTO, for example.
I also grabbed it in case someone removed it...
Giving a third party power to tell us what the USA can and cannot do is a ridiculous infringement on sovereignty. The WTO is as worthless as the UN.

The US should NEVER, EVER give an inch of sovereignty.
Thanks for the good find. I will be watching it and if it has merit, I’ll send the link to my district Republicans.
I have been hoping that someone like Duncan Hunter will carry the torch for conservatives and freedom.
“In addition, he has a son in Iraq. Not that either of these are qualifications, but they are certainly great markers.”
Oh yeah, I forgot about his having a son over in Iraq. I am going to do the same, put Rep. Hunters name in my tagline to help get his name out there. That was a good idea!
LOL RIGHT! Whatever.
First off, I never called Ronald Reagan a protectionist. I see a clear distinction between responding to unfair trade practices --- ie. holding our trading partners accountable --- and strict protectionism, as legitimate government policy versus bad government policy, respectively.
In todays modern world of political reality, a classic liberal and modern day libertarian have a lot in common. Like it or not. Obviously, globalism reigns supreme in your world. In my world, globalism only works to undercut US interests abroad and undermine US sovereignty at home. I don't believe that is what the Founders had in mind. That wasn't their original intent. In this case the goal was for future Americans is to remain vigilant on issues of trade with foreign nations.
Frankly, if foreigners are closing off US markets and limiting US inroads into foreign markets, then that requires a response. A blunt message must be sent. For too long the Feds have worked to make a one world society, a reality in this case. Sadly, at the cost of American freedom.
In my book, human beings are a valued part of the democratic free enterprise system. Therefore, people are a useful commodity. Now enough of your high minded liberal rhetoric. I'm shocked that you support HR4437. The dichotomy is surprising. Whether I take your clearest passage at face value or not, is another story.
“The right to keep and bear arms is an absolute right of Americans to protect their families and their communities and their nation with firearms. In this age of post-911, Americans, I believe are comforted by the fact that our ability to resist terrorism is not limited to law enforcement or defense agencies but is also within the ability of all gun-owning Americans.”
“I believe are comforted by the fact that our ability to resist terrorism is not limited to law enforcement or defense agencies but is also within the ability of all gun-owning Americans.
Exactly. As long as American citizens have guns the terrorists can never realize their dream of a world wide caliphate. Of course, liberals are trying their hardest to ensure that we become defenseless which is why we need Duncan Hunter in the White House.
I think Haley’s got his hands full rebuilding Mississipi after Katrina.
It would probably be a good idea, also, for those of us who back Hunter to start pestering the various talk show hosts.
“Ann then said that he might win if Sean Hannity would actually talk about him on his show.”
And today Sean DID mention Duncan Hunter favorably on his show. WTG Ann!
“..If historic trends continue, the next president will be either Guilliani ..”
When is the last time we had a former mayor as POTUS?
“..why not go to work for a man that would be a better president and become a part of making history instead of a slave to past history?
Its our choice!”
EXACTLY!
In October of of 1991, Bill Clinton only had 2% in the polls, and it’s only May so we have PLENTY of time.
Thank you! Nice to hear from a positive person instead of all the doom and gloomers who are ready to give up without even trying.
That quote’s been on my profile for quite some time.
Yes, I thought she was rather supportive of Mitt Romney. Though Romney is good and coherent and presents himself well but I could see him being more mushy and apt at giving in to the opposition if President(like Bush); Hunter would make the best President and it’s good Ann would put his name out there past this stigma those against him would like to make: “he can’t win”. If he got the nomination the name recognition and people wanting to know who this was that got past Rudy and McCain would be great and Hunter can take care of winning people over because he is an awesome candidate. It’s all about Hunter actually getting a chance to get his message out and not be silenced and have people not even wanting to give him a chance. http://www.gohunter08.com
McCain is the only other candidate with combat experience(I think Gilmore served as well) with a son who is actually serving in the current war as Hunter’s is. And I do think that will have a play this election. No chickenhawks there and that does have play with people as Kerry attempted to use it before being exposed as the traitor he is(Swift vet John O’Neill is supporting Hunter as well) and the Demonrats like to use Webb as well. Hunter just happens to have all the qualities besides that and that’s what makes him the best all-around candidate. McCain is just not one I’d want leading the GOP and nation. Too much join with the Demonrats/attack his own party since 2000.
That’s great. We all need to contribute.
The fact that human beings are useful parts of the democratic free enterprise system doesn’t imply human beings are commodities. A commodity is something to be bought and sold, whereas a human being cannot be in a free society. While a human being’s services may be bought or sold, that is hardly the same thing.
