Ladyinred has been diagnosed with lung cancer and it is bad. It has been there for some time with no symptoms. She has taken a couple of Chemo treatments but they will not be able to cure this. They hope to stop the growth for as long as possible.
Please also remember Chadsworth in your prayers, as he is taking this very hard.
In a note to me, ladyinred said ..... "I would appreciate your prayers of course, as that is all that can really help me."
As Chadsworth told me, the only thing that will make a difference is a miracle through the power of prayer.

She is resting as comfortably as possible. She is sleeping mostly, and is surrounded by friends and family. Chadsworth/Tom is running ragged tending to her, he is truly a great husband.
Connie was adamant about not going to a hospice, and Tom agreed. They have a nurse living next door, and lots of great neighbors where they live, that are helping. My wife and I spent the night Friday, I work nights so I was able to take the night shift easily allowing Tom to get some much needed sleep.
Tom and Connie appreciate all the prayers and support you wonderful group of people are providing. Many heartfelt thanks, and I will let you all know her status. I am not too sure how much longer she will be with us, but Connie has certainly left a mark on everyone's life she has touched.

How true. Your statement brought tears to my eyes. I was privileged to be at my uncle's bedside as he passed from this world to his Heavenly Home, and it was a blessing to witness those final moments before his soul was set free, and to hear that sigh of relief as his soul departed the imprisonment of his cancer-ridden body. Praise God that because of Jesus, death truly has lost its sting.
Prayers for Connie for a beautiful Homegoing, and for Tom and those who love her that they will be able to cherish these last days/hours/moments and that those memories will bring comfort in the days after her passing.
