I think that many Jews believe that modern Judaism (that is Judaism AD) doesn't have much to do with Jesus. However, the fact that disbelief in Jesus has become almost an article of faith in modern Judaism demonstrates how radically the coming of Jesus changed Judaism.

Jesus was never an "ex" Jew.

Whenever I found myself in the past talking to friends or acquaintances that were Jewish and "Jesus" comes up, some say that he may have been a "decent man" or "good philosopher" or "good teacher" but only one I've met thought of him as the "son of God".
