The Kansas City International Airport has added several foot-washing basins in restrooms to accommodate a growing number of Muslim taxicab drivers who requested the facilities to prepare for daily Islamic prayer, WND has learned.
The move concerns airport police who worry about Middle Eastern men loitering inside the building. After 9/11, the airport beefed up its police force to help prevent terrorist attacks.

I just mailed friends and relatives down there and asked what the heck is going on. If they want to wash their d-—n feet, let them use the commodes.
I thought “wudu” was bathroom humor, as in
“Mohammed! Stop playing with your wudu!”
Sorry to say this is my home town area (though I'm from the land of "Dorothy, Toto and Auntie Em") in the "Free State" of Kansas.

My point is simply this: Can Christians and people of other faiths use these “basins” for practice of some rite of their respective religion?
Personally I wouldn’t touch ‘em with ten foot pole.

Little by little....one appeasement at a time....
Appalling. Meanwhile, Liberals bann mention of Christ on Christmas. (Bigotry against Christians is okay.)
This is in the cabbie staging area near the control tower. No passengers would even have a reason to go in there nor would want to. Is deodorant against their tenets too? Forego a cab ride and order a limo if you’re going downtown.
When is all this pandering to muslims going to stop???
After the next terrorist attack, maybe the POTUS will do what should have been done after the FIRST WTC bombing in 1993 and definitely after 9/11...DEPORT ALL FOREIGN MUSLIMS.
If they had after 1993, there’s a good chance we wouldn’t have had a 9/11!
Our ancestors didn’t risk life & limb to come to this country just so a bunch of camel jockeys could come here, terrorize our women & children & make hamburger out of our families!
Yes, it was interesting...I think they should be made aware of it. Anyone (especially expatguy), want to get up a little special project to inquire as to just how this thing evolved? Or is it too late?
I don’t know if it’s too late (in alot of ways), but the guys at Power Line follow this stuff. I’m registered over there. I’ll see if I can find a thread where this information would fit.
From now on I will bring a bag of pork rinds to any airport I visit and be sure to leave a deposit for my Muslim friends.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations has pressed government agencies and businesses to install the foot basins in restrooms
It's worth reading the whole article to see what this foot-washing ritual entails.
Obsessive-compulsive is putting it mildly.
What a dead-end, death-loving cult.
We should thank the airport authorities for putting these spitoons where we can use them.
What, you're against diversity?!!
On Holy Thursday, Catholic churches usually include a symbolic foot-washing as part of the mass (Last Supper remembrance).
My point is simply this: Can Christians and people of other faiths use these basins for practice of some rite of their respective religion?
Sure - but can imagine the controversy that would erupt if the local Catholic diocese planned to use these presumably non-denominational foot basins before the Easter weekend?
We better start pushing back, and soon.
