the bald girl that survived the classroom shooting (that did the interview) said the professor was ‘down’
How in God's name can you say that after today?
“The thought of a campus full of armed 18-25 year olds scares me to death.”
Ever been on a military base?
Do you think someone else might have supplied the vest and guns?? How can a new arrival from China get those?
Pray for W and Va Tech
Let’s get totally paranoid and irrational because it’s fun.
This is international. What is the big difference between broadcasting the cutting off of heads for the world to see and broadcasting the gunshots that killed and maimed numerous young students.
Only RESPONSIBLE and well trained people should have access to weapons in those type of situations. I see no problem with well certified citizens carrying weapons in public, but I don’t think every hot headed 18 year old on campus should be packing heat as some posters have advocated.
Pray that he'll pull his head out of his @ss and do something about the illegal immigration problem.
This guy was trained. He knew how to keep his cool and execute. A “jilted lover” would not keep his cool; further the events leading to the executions (i.e. the bomb threats and planning) suggest terrorism.
All that is left is the perps name.
Yeah You can, and in this case you must. It's a school, not a city. And a murderer is loose on campus. Lock down all buildings ASAP. That is the protocol.
I didn’t say it in God’s name. I said it in absolute seriousness.
What happened today was bad enough without more people dying via friendly fire or accidental discharges. Can you imagine thousands weapons being fired in panic?
There is a legitimate argument that we must fortify our schools to some extent. More security, including people authorized to carry firearms, is in order.
But students need to be students. A gun in every backpack is a nutty idea.
I don’t know. Heck, with $1000 and a little time anyone anywhere can find a gun. With the serial numbers filed off, that hints that they were “hot”.
But why would an exchange student go through the time, effort, and risk to get some illegal guns? That is what I am trying ot figure out.
Not the killer:
Pictures at the link predate the killer coming into the country
Doesn’t look 24 years old
Mastery of English is too good for someone here on a student visa from China
That journal was ruled out earlier supposedly.
Geraldo reporting white guy with greasy hair, black pickup truck with farm license plates.
Yep.
And he seems to have a taste in old surplus rifles of Russian and Chinese vintage.
A law student from Nigeria shot two faculty members and a student in 2001 at Appalachian School of Law in Grundy, Virginia...
He may have been Asian but most likely he was African.
