How in God's name can you say that after today?
I didn’t say it in God’s name. I said it in absolute seriousness.
What happened today was bad enough without more people dying via friendly fire or accidental discharges. Can you imagine thousands weapons being fired in panic?
There is a legitimate argument that we must fortify our schools to some extent. More security, including people authorized to carry firearms, is in order.
But students need to be students. A gun in every backpack is a nutty idea.
