Tucker just read a news flash, announcing that they will no longer simulcast Imus at all, anymore.
To the list add: GM, DiTech
Check for more.
I agree BG...
I don’t watch Imus...and don’t like him...and did NOT like what he said...
However, I think we have got to be worried about this getting so out of hand..that more people are upset about what Imus said ...than they are about NUTJOB threatening to blow our country to heck!!
SLImus got the ZOT??????
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....
I think Hillary is a big winner in this. Imus has made no bones about how he can’t stand her and the more we head into the presidential race, no doubt his attacks on her would have increased. She is truly the big winner here because a loud, rude-n-crude critic of hers has been silenced...or at least marginalized.
Imus should never have had a show in the first place. Why anyone would listen to him is questionable. Why anyone would watch a radio show on TV is totally beyond my comprehension. The guy is a loser...always has been, always will be.
“We agree on this one. Sharpton has won big. Free speech loses.”
Hey! You can invite him over to your house or lodge hall and he can call young female college students all sorts of names.
Funny how someone will toss in the name Sharpton or Jackson and otherwise rational conservatives react the same as moonbats do when the name Coulter is tossed into the circle.
You’ll be surprised that many blacks that are not “led” by Jackson and Sharpton are pretty ticked off. Remember, guys, you don’t hit the girl.
Yep, I agree on both counts.
Must I? ;)
Actually- I just scanned the NEWS MAX piece about Hillary’s revenge on IMUS...stranger things have happened.
I'm not sure if Rush has addressed this issue yet but I'm sure he would be the first to condemn the action......The race baiters and poverty pimps won the day..........
ESPN wasn't a big deal anyway, he was doomed from the beginning.......
Naw,he put out a x-rated album back in the seventies with some very racial lyrics. He supposably was playing to the stereotypes of country musicians to the point of exaggeration. He claims that he’s not racial at all and has black musicians in his band.If you heard the songs I’m talking about, you’d know what I mean.
I can’t stand Imus -— but this angers me.
I sent a note to Staples and said I was going to Office Max because of their decision to drop him. They answered back and said that they sponsor other programs on MSNBC (as if that affected my decision)
So I rewrote them and told them that I was dropping MSNBC as my second source of TV news -— all because of succumbing to the media hype.
Where in the world did the word ‘ho’ come from in the first place? Imus didn’t make it up. And all this to-do has the word all over the place now!!
I know that’s right...
I feel like I need a shower whenever I even stop on that channel.
Will do. Thanks.
” Its still the employers right to fire an employee for something the employee says on the job. The employer gets to make that judgment.’
Bingo.
If Joe’s Diner doesn’t like it’s waitresses calling patrons nappy headed hos and jiggaboos-they have the right to fire them.
No, I don't talk alot. I ranted. By the way, I'm well aware of that the thread's about. I can read. The title of the thread was perfectly clear to me.
What are you alloting?
Well, thank you for watching and reporting.
I agree with you and Ann Coulter...
however, what has happend OTHER than Imus and the basketball team is what has concerned me.
I sure don’t like hearing that the drive to get Imus fired is SO intense..but, when asked about rappers...they make excuses..
Sure, two wrongs don’t make a right...but, who makes the rules?? How are we to know when something is okay??
If it was just the people complaining to the advertisers..and the network making the decision based on that...that is okay..that is capitalism and the marketplace making the decision.
However, are any of these advertisers also adversiting on BET or sponsoring any concerts that rappers headline?? Do any of these advertisers advertise on radio stations that play rap music...
What about the Chris Rock videos and concerts??
Double standards...that is what is pervasive in this country in many, many ways...and it is getting scary.
