FReepers and other Street Protesters: Check out this great poster software...
Today, silly | Silly

Are you sick of bland, pathetic-looking posters made with colored markers? Are you graphically challenged and not very software savvy? Do you wish your FReeps had professional, cheap posters that catch the eye?

Today, after looking for months, I finally found an amazing poster software called PosteRazor. It is free, and works with Windows or Mac OSs. You will not believe how easy it is to use.

It takes your image, and cuts it into tiles, then quickly converts them into PDF pages, which you can print on paper of your choosing and assemble into a large poster or banner.

The first time I saw such a PDF file was one that Registered created for the SoreLoserman protest in 2000. I still have the original PDF file he or someone created, but I haven't been able to create PDFs of my own. I did try another poster software later, but it was hard to use, expensive, and I was never really satisfied with the results.

But today, the posters I made in less than 5 minutes were absolutely amazing.

You can download PosteRazor at:

Or at: http://www.posterazor.com/

If you would like to print some of the most amazing posters you’ll every see, I suggest you access this web site and download the poster printer.

This program will take your photo and print it out up to 100 x 100 feet. It is also a tile type process, but it’s the best thing I’ve ever used. It overlaps for you. It can also print marks to help you line up the tiles for putting the tiles together.

I’ve used this program to make 8x16 foot stage backdrops. I have also used it to create 6x6 foot photos of faces for political events, and if you stand six feet away from the photo, you won’t be able to see seams.

I like this program because it allows a person to print out on 13x19 inch paper, and does so in a very clear manner. Putting larger tiles together is a lot better than joining a lot of smaller ones, believe me. When your family sees that first 4x6 foot photo of a special event, you’ll be the envy of them all.

I’ve used this program for the last ten years or so, have actually forgotten exactly how long I’ve been using it, but I’ve never been disappointed.

Some good software suggestions here. Aren’t some of your bigger posters starting to get a little weathered?

Hey, I am very happy you shared this with me, you made my day! Glad the software worked for you.

The posters look very clear and readable — a big improvement over many dry-marker hand-drawn signs.

Next I would encourage you to bring in some artistic/graphic flair, and bold use of color. A bit of a challenge when you want the text to be read in microseconds, but a worthy challenge, and very satisfying when you hit a home run.

Keep up the good work, and keep sharing!
