Does this photo appear to be doctored to you?
Now here is a photo that I took just moments before they go onto the bridge. Notice the woman with the white headband in the doctored photo. Then look at her in my photo. She is not located anywhere in the photo with the same people in the doctored photo. Also you can see how the crowd is not at big as a full on shot.
I also want to point out in the doctored photo that behind the woman are people wearing neon vests for crowd control. These people were located at the FRONT of the protest, not in the middle. But in my photo they are no where to be found. I find it hard to believe that she ran all to the front of the protest as they crossed the bridge.
OK... I gotcha. Hmmm... although it's probably a pretty accurate count, I guess I can't provide a source then.
FYI, the official estimates were stopped after the right reverend Louis Farrakhan and his MMM thugs screamed racism and bigotry at the Park Service's estimates that the Million Man March came up 900-and-some-thousand short of the MMM claimed crowd size.
Oh, fer cryin' out loud... why am I not surprised?
Thanks for the education, FRiend... ;-)
This issue seems to be creating quite the debate.
Also, Here is the quote from UPI
WAP20070317701 Thousands of protesters walk from the Lincoln Memorial towards the Pentagon to protest the the fourth anniversary of the start of the Iraq War, in Arlington, Virginia on March 17, 2007. This protest met at the starting point of the massive 1967 anti-Vietnam War march on the Pentagon.

First of all, my pic was taken at 1:05 PM and theirs was at 2:25 PM. There is NO way that she went to the front of the parade and the parade took that long to cross the bridge. Second, if they were coming back from the Pentagon media sources showed that only about 1000 stayed to listen to the speakers while MOST of the protesters took the metro and did not cross back over the bridge.
There is definatly something fishy about that photo.
Gotcha!
Good eyes Mr. Danger!
Post #121. Read all comments by Gen. Danger.
That's what I was getting at. Just quoting another poster's words to you so that they could eat them. ;)
Sure she is. In photo 1 there is a guy with a blue hat and an orange sign over her rigth shoulder (to the left, looking at the pic). In photo 2, he is to the left of her.
Was your pic taken BEFORE the memorial bridge? The "doctored" one was taken past the end of the bridge....maybe as much as 1/4 mile after the left turn off of the bridge.
Do you have a source of official numbers? I would very much like to have a documentation. Thank you very much in advance for your reply.
Is that pathetic? She "doesn't get" the veterans' "weird sweaters, which are clearly legible patches on their leather jackets saying they are combat veterans or honoring those Missing In Action. The only story I heard from the GoE that tops that was when a veteran was being grilled by a British-accented reporter about "when did America ever liberate another nation" and he mentioned Germany, France, Kosovo and some other places, and she said, "Hah! When did the U.S. ever liberate France???"
Can you believe the stupidity?
My first thought too.
Hey, I just noticed something funny. Looks like the lady in the white Jacket and earmuffs tripped hitting another protester in the head. *lmao*
Yes it was. About 25 yards before they go onto the bridge.
I know... incredible, isn't it? And she was one of the many clueless nutjobs shouting insults at us from across the street (or later, from their parade... shouting at us down at Arlington Circle). Nothing like "empowered ignorance", huh? ;-)
I admit I only skimmed her "flickr" website, but she appears to be a Georgetown student from Egypt. Not sure if she is even an American citizen.

Oh. My. G... Are you serious? That is absolutely shocking... and sad.
OK. I just got back from a run out there. I walked from the start of the bridge (near the Lincoln Memorial) to the point where the pic was taken. It took me 6 minutes to clear the bridge and then turn left toward the Pentagon. it took me another 5 minutes to get to the point where the "suspect" picture was taken (my guesstimate of the location by lining up the background). A crowd can get really mixed up in 11 minutes.
The picture, in my opinion, is a fake. Because if it was talen as UPI states, going from the Lincoln Memorial to the pentagon it is wrong. I was there when they were returning and there were A LOT less people than in the picture.
Fake but accurate.(snicker)
