When does the monsoon season arrive?

Mid-July. These are unusual storms...to me, anyway. We normally have January rains, then not much again until July.

Hi Jinx....we are having a second wave of rain now. It's only about 56* or so now.

The big boomers were this afternoon. Had to shut down computers. I had made my assit a cuppa & one hit & I darn near dropped it! LOL

As a note, couple of months ago I mentioned that a local newscaster at the age of 42 enlisted in the Army. Saw tonite where he has graduated bootcamp with honors! Top soldier of the cycle!

Yes...this is unusual but we'll take it!:)

I believe the technical definition of monsoon season in AZ Is when we have three consecutive days when the dew point averages 55 degrees or higher
which as Jinx stated is usually in mid-July.

It is so hot & humid! Yuck!:)
