I am well dear....you wouldn't believe the fun weather we have had today!
We have had a rain & big "boomers" off & on all day. The air smells divine....the greenery looks electric & the temps have dropped considerably.
I am sooo.....ready for a weekend. I almost have my daytime computer back to snuff. I don't like not being able to keep up during the day! LOL
And how are you?????
To: TASMANIANRED

TGIF to you sweetie!
I got home a little late tonight then cooked my hubby a big dinner so I'm trying to catch up now.
A couple of newlyweds stopped by my office late to show me pics of their wedding & honeymoon. They were precious!
Memories to last a lifetime!
And how are you dear? *Hugs*
To: laurenmarlowe

Oh my goodness! Thank heavens he ran fast!
YES....time to get those branches taken down. The winter you had has surely caused you alot of extra spring work I'm sure.
Did you have to remove the pear tree entirely?
To: TASMANIANRED
It must be hard on her not living where they are. Is she coming to see for herself?
I know you would if you could! (((hugs)))

I am having a great day. I was off for my birthday.
I think you had the weather that we had last night. It has been cool here all day. Not much rain, but we had some spectacular lightening, too....last night.
I am ready for green!

Keep On
READ:
Psalm 66:1-10All the earth shall worship You and sing praises to You. Psalm 66:4
Keep on travelin. Keep on . . . sang the teenagers of the Dayspring Chorale. They had just sung the first five words of their Sunday evening concert when everything went dark. All power was gone.
Well, not all power. Not true power.
The students kept singing. Flashlights were found to shine on the chorale as they sang their entire repertoire without accompaniment.
Midway through the concert, the director, my daughter Lisa, asked the congregation to sing along. It was goosebump time as Gods name was lifted high in that darkened church. Hallelujah never seemed so heavenly.
Before the concert, everyone had worked hard to make sure all the electrical equipment was working. But the best thing that happened was for that power to go out. As a result, Gods power was highlighted. Gods light, not electric light, shone through. Jesus was praised.
Sometimes our plans break down and our efforts fall short. When things happen that we cant control, we must keep on travelin and remember where the real power for godly living and true praise comes from. When our efforts falter, we need to keep praising and lifting up Jesus. Its all about Him anyway.
Sing praise to God who reigns above,
The God of all creation,
The God of power, the God of love,
The God of our salvation. Schutz
Gods great power deserves our grateful praise.
