Someone watch the Kos kids reaction and the DUMMIES.
Why do we want to see them celebrate?

If Libby draws a fine or jail for outing a covert agent who really wasn't a covert agent, then Leaky Leahy should be hanged for getting a covert agent killed who really was a covert agent.

....I thought he could hope for was a hung jury....I gather from the length of deliberations that wasn't going to be allowed.
If there is a conviction, it'll be overturned.

Personally, given the Jury's questions, I think they were deciding on acquitting on all counts or hanging which would have meant a retrial. I think they were deciding whether there was enough there that they SHOULD retry, that the prosecutor just did that bad a job putting it together. Otherwise they likely don't want to put the poor guy through another trial.

Because they've made this "history" themselves.
If he is convicted, after all that Russert couldn't remember about his OWN life, this is the biggest travesty of justice ever.
But I think he will be found guilty.

"Fitzfong is going to be a hero to the deranged left and they will all be after Cheney more than ever."

Personally, I think the reason Fitz went after Libby is because he doesn't have anything with which to prosecute Cheney. Might as well go after the underling if you can't get the big guy.
To: snarkytart
Wishful thinking on my part?
It would be a complete miracle if he is found not guilty.

How long have we lived this? I am so nervous about this.

I watch Fox...and get one story...turn to MSNBC and get a whole other story.
I think the gang at MSNBC are ready to get shackles for VP Cheney if this is a guilty verdict.

They will pay attention once there are any guilty verdicts...... the DBM and 'Rats have been relatively quiet because the case is so weak and so messy that they were afraid to make too much noise about it these past few months (and not much of the public could be aroused to pay attention to such a tedious case).
BUT, once the DBM and Demagogues have any "guilty" verdicts on Libby they propaganda barrage will become insanely intense, just watch.

I'm sure the appeal notice is drafted and will be filed right after any guilty verdict.

Between Russert and the other reporters, I haven't heard so many "I don't know's" since Hillary testified.

Oh, yes, they want the perp walk.
And if he is found guilty, the left will have been given a ticket to lie with wild abandon, even worse than they do now.
