Here's a litmus test, one propounded by the Rudy rooters themselves:
Prove that only Rudy can competently fight the War on Terror. Opinions don't count. Give us hard evidence. Why, among all the potential candidates, is Rudy the only one who will defend this nation and its people?
The rest of your bunch don't have the courage to make the case. Do you?
To: dmw
You win the award for giving the stupidest most asinine reason (excuse) to vote for Rudy! God almighty! You're gonna let some *words* that offended you put you in Rudy's camp are you? Well, you obviously don't have any core conservative values in the first place if you are so fragile and sensitive to what someone "says". I can't believe anyone would act like such a baby. So what are you gonna do when a Rudy supporter says something that is so horribly offensive, vote for Hillary? Jeeeez! LOL, if Hilary changed parties, most of these folks would vote for her.
To: Jim Robinson
"I'm shocked that so many people would simply throw it all away. I will continue fighting for our traditional American conservative values regardless. I see absolutely no reason to give up the fight."
And neither do we. And we don't see ourselves as 'throwing away' anything but as living to fight another day.
And that difference of opinion, or tactics, if you will, does not a treason make, despite what SOME OTHER members of these discussions have said.

Worth noting that, per the recent article on private schools, the pro-gay lobby actively seeks to force its grotesque self into every aspect of society... public
and private.
This fact belies the pro-gay...and socially liberal Republican... claims that the ascendancy of the gay movement doesn't affect anyone else's life, that gay people just want to leave everyone alone, and such blather.
The reality is, they want affirmative action for gays, gay teachers in every school, and gay scout masters in every cabin.
The reality is, they are determined to force their immorality upon everyone else in a desperate attempt to drag everyone else down to their level.

LOL, if Hilary changed parties, most of these folks would vote for her. Yeah. I can hear it now: "But, she was a Goldwater Girl!"

I share your opinion of polls this far out from the election. My hype comment was a reference to the fact that every time new poll results are released they are breathlessly posted to demonstrate the futility of our resistance to Giuliani.
In any case, my point was that the same polls that show Giuliani with a commanding lead also show that a majority of voters don't know his positions. A Fox News/Opinion Dynamics poll from February 13-14 showed that 19% of respondents believed Giuliani was pro-life and 44% did not know his position on abortion. Those 63% may be stupid as you say, but it doesn't change the fact that the poll numbers are skewed by a lack of knowledge of his positions.

Nice pic of the sub in the Arctic. Did you take it by any chance? Or just serve on one? I'm not sure I could have handled being underwater for 6 months at a shot....especially at 6'5".... No, I didn't take that picture but a shipmate of mine did. Your height wouldn't be too much of an issue...as long as you watch your head and like to sleep curled up into a ball.

And neither do we. And we don't see ourselves as 'throwing away' anything but as living to fight another day.So, you're saying we will die unless Rudy is elected?
Do you really not know how stupid that assertion sounds?
To: johncatl
Okay, how about explaining, in detail, HOW a primary works, in detail?
Since it is patently obvious that you don't know, go GOOGLE and learn how it REALLY works and come back here and make your report. I'm sick and tired of correcting all of the error filled posts that are constantly put up here.

Just being honest Jim. One of my most endearing (or alternately maddening) traits, depending on your point of view. Nothing personal.
