A carpenter who walked in on a man allegedly touching himself beside a little boy in a Tyngsboro ice rink lavatory Saturday swept the child to safety, then wrestled the weirdo to the ground during a brutal bathroom brawl.
“Once I saw that little kid’s face, I just saw black,” Jimi Montbleau of Lowell said yesterday.

In reading the story, I see the police took in the perv - and the local paper/police rate this guy as a hero.
In a major city, he would be arrested for assault, in San Fran he would be lynched.
Anyway, good for him. One reason I avoid public restrooms is because of drunks, creeps, dopers, etc, etc.

The excerpt say the man was "allegedly touching himself", but further down in the article it says that someone said that the guy was masturbating. I am a woman, but I would assume that at a urinal every guy would be touching himself without being a perv.

I just saw black That's an odd expression. I always thought the norm is "I saw red".
The article didn't say anything about the race of the perp, but they'll probably charge the carpenter with a race crime just for using that expression.
