Is prince gay ?
WOW... Very impressive and very moving.
Romo Leinart and Manning aren't proven to be better.
McNabb forgot him.
Vick is overrated.
People who think Rex has proven to be bad are dumber than people that say he's proven to be good. He has not proven either. When someone is 15-4 as a starter in his first full season as one usually its more likely they are good.
They also don't have a lot of talent on the O. They need some help at WR and TE.
All the others you posted are somewhat questionable.
We do not know if Rex is good or bad right now. The signs point to good more than bad.
It's not like the Bears have a better option either.
He's also a free agent after 07 so the Bears NEED TO KNOW by the end of next season. They don't right now. Benching Rex will not help that answer.
They know what Griese is. An average at best QB is his ceiling.
We don't know what Rex's ceiling is. And we aren't going to find out by benching him.
I can guarantee you on Kitna and Johnson that their coaches would trade them for Grossman tomorrow.
If like every smart football person thinks he will Grossman continues to develop he will be a sought after free agent after next season and chances are darn good the Lions, Viking and Packers will all go after them.
I'd love to think like Iowafan that all the Bears problems are because of Rex and Griese is the magic answer. I'd love for it to be that simple.
And it's more a reaction to some fans in general than Iowafan in particular and I apologize to him or her.
I think Iowa is just being knee jerk. And having an emotional response to the game.
Congrats again to Indy folks! Nice win! Good team! Good Coach! Great QB! Just refreshing.
who's Rex?
Paul Rocks!!!
Well said!!!!! I'm sure he'll be talking to his son(forgot his name)and probably take a hat to his gravesite so that he can be a part of the celebration.
Guys like Tony, Lovie, Jeff Fisher and John Fox-Coaches who aren't about to put the spotlight on themselves, and know how important the "team" concept is give the NFL a welcome change in an otherwise "me" game.
Class act by Irsay too. First thing out of his mouth was to remember the tragedy in Central Florida and that the team will provide resources to those in need.
I won't get into any Rex bashing. If Trent Dilfer could win a SB, then Rex can too. It looked like youth got in the way of his head tonight. After the long play to Muhammed, he probably should not have gone back to that well again on the very next play. And that awful pass to Berrian is a case of trying to be too perfect and he put too much air under that pass and we all know the rest.
The better team won tonight, no doubt!! Peyton's got his ring, a new Caddy and more endorsements than he can ever imagine. Meanwhile, here in Cleveland we have...........................A BUNCH OF CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!
So I was a little off in my prediction(post 57) 29-17 vs. 31-17. But that doesn't feel as bad as those who took the over(48) and saw Indy pass on a 35-yard field goal!!!!!!
CONGRATS COLTS!!!!!!
Well, that proves it. Not even God himself can save da Bears from Lovie-Dovie Smith and the rest of this horrible coaching staff.
They will burn down the cornfields and stay up all night doing shots of milk!
Glad the colts won. I know Tony's brother quite well and I'm sure he is partying now.
They got to the Super Bowl with a QB that showed flashes of greatness and flashes of badness.
The fact is the Bears need to know which is the real Rex and benching him aint going to help.
He was a big reason they beat Seattle and he played a great game if you look behind the box score against the Saints.
He needs to find the happy medium more like against the Saints. When he doesn't quite have it let the D keep us in it and go with the running game until he finds his rhythm. Like the Saints game for example.
Giving up on him like some fans want to won't help. So we can watch him go elsewhere and continue to develop while Griese gets us to 10-6 and a first round loss?
Hello! They are on the streets right now. It's all over the news. The roads are totally blocked downtown and the police are telling people to stop coming out.
Or Ditka for that matter!!!!!
I couldn't agree more, which is why I'm praying that my Raiders don't trade their #1 for him!
I mean, the guy seems to always be off to the races before he's even set his damn feet or look downfield!
I hear Moon Pies and Dr. Pepper are sold out all over town!
Very funny..are you from LA?
