I googled the name "solejman", and it offered me the alternative "sulejman", which is a muslim name.
For what it's worth.
I did the same thing.
~sigh~
Back to Anna Nicole Smith programming.
Hmmm. Thanks for that update. Somehow I expected the name to be...... well, you know....

U.S. Special Forces using Mullah Omar's compound in Afghanistan to plan missions

FIREBASE MAHOLIC, Afghanistan: Osama bin Laden built it. Taliban leader Mullah Omar lived in it. But today it's men of the U.S. Army's Special Forces who call it home.
Firebase Maholic, a sprawling and spacious compound on the outskirts of the southern Afghan city of Kandahar, is plush living by typical standards of the Special Forces, known as the Green Berets.
There's plenty of serious work here. A constant roar of shooting-range gunfire bounces off a towering granite peak behind the complex. Military missions are planned here. And Special Forces soldiers recently started training 130 new Afghan recruits for the country's fledgling auxiliary police force.
"The irony of this is that the home of the (Taliban's) supreme leader is being used to train forces whose mission it is to destroy the force he created," said Rusty, the team leader of a Special Forces detachment. Teams usually consist of 12 members. Rusty, like all Green Beret soldiers in the field, is not allowed to be fully identified.
But soldiers here readily acknowledge that Omar's digs aren't a bad place to refresh in between multi-day missions conducted in the barest of conditions.
The Green Berets can relax in front of a doublewide fireplace in the cafeteria, admire the three catfish in the nearby two-tier fountain or take a dip in the swimming pool a rarity in Afghanistan.
Meant to be the Taliban's presidential palace and once used as a militant training ground, the complex is big enough for a looping 8-kilometer (5-mile) run through the rolling hills that obscure the complex from a distance. Canadian and other elite units are also based at the complex, which was shattered by U.S. bombs in late 2001 but has since been rebuilt.

Nothing very dramatic to report. A few thumbnails updated, a few sites moved to the bottom of the page due to inactivity, mohajroon.com, which had someone dropped off the page altogether has been restored to its rightful place.

"Islamic Jihad warns US"
Posted: 13-02-2007 , 15:47 GMT
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "The Palestinian Islamic Jihad on Tuesday threatened to retaliate against the United States if it tried to capture its Damascus-based leader, Dr. Ramadan Abdullah Mohammad Shallah.
On Monday, Washington announced that they would offer a $5 million reward for information leading to the capture of Shallah. The same amount was also offered for a member of Lebanese Hizbullah, Mohammed Ali Hamadei. The alleged Lebanese Hizbullah member took part in the 1985 hijacking of TWA Flight 847 that resulted in the killing of U.S. sailor Robert Stethem."

Palestinian child abuse photo of the day award
This comes from a mainstream Arabic forum, not a jihadi site. It was posted in the context of a discussion, the participants of which decided that there was no such thing as a civilian in Israel, and so their could be no such thing as terrorism where Israelis were concerned.

Jordan court indicts 18 on terror charges
AMMAN, Jordan, Feb. 12
Jordan's State Security Court has indicted a group of 18 people on charges of terrorism and recruiting elements to fight in Iraq and train in Lebanon.
Judicial sources said Monday the charges were dropped against one group member, who was killed in a shoot-out with authorities in the northern city of Irbid last month, while two suspects were still at large.
According to the charge sheet, the suspects worked to recruit people from Jordan to join al-Qaida in Iraq to carry out terrorist attacks there, saying the defendants succeeded in enlisting a number of people in the kingdom to send to Lebanon, via Syria, for military training before going to Iraq.

Britons suspected of fighting with Islamic forces in Somalia returning home
February 12, 2007 LONDON:
Four Britons seized in Kenya and suspected of fighting alongside Somalia's ousted Islamic movement were preparing to be deported Monday, Britain's Foreign Office said. The men were seized in January on the Somali border after escaping advancing Ethiopian troops who, together with Somali government troops, ousted the Islamic militants.
At least 10 foreigners were held in Kenyan custody, including the Britons, two Americans, a Frenchman and a Tunisian woman, according to Kenyan officials. Britain's Foreign Office said four men had been handed to officials in Nairobi, Kenya, on Monday and would be deported.
A Metropolitan police spokeswoman could not confirm whether the men would be arrested on their arrival in Britain in connection with their activities in Somalia.

Cindy, you know my standard line. I wish that when arabs "deplore the loss of any innocent life," the media's next question should be, "Are non-muslims considered innocent?"
I understand.
I hope all the Americans here and abroad understand, too.

Aramark, Aramark - why did that ring a bell?
Here's why:
Aramark ran the food court on top of 2 World Trade Center as well as concessions and tours of the observation deck. Several of its employees died in the tower.
And Tom Kean who is on the board of Aramark was on the 9/11 panel.

Strange coincidence...
