A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

We've had plenty of sunshine this week but very low temperatures. It's supposed to snow here tonight so I need to do my pioneer bit and go put some firewood in the dry.

I am green with envy..No bluebirds at my house..
I have seen many bluebirds at a rural home about 20 miles away ..with lots of bird houses lining the circular drive. She had a "view window" and birdfeeders hanging in a big tree near the family room..It is a very fond memory.

I had never seen a bluebird till they began coming to the feeder about a week ago.
They look most beautiful when I don't have a camera and I've only gotten shaky shots so far.

My new little friend, Mr. Handsome, asks me to let you all know that he's having a warm and fuzzy day.
He's Mama Kitty's new suitor, quite an impressive fellow ... he makes a sweet trilling noise when he visits ... won't let me close enough to touch or hold, but he's really lovey, and rather bold.
I expect Mama will be bringing a new batch of kittens up to the porch sometime soon ... )
