Comments here!
A bit off the subject, but in the early part of the twentieth century, Israel Sack's (respected NYCity antique dealer)grandfather was a rag and bone man...he went around the city with a horse-drawn cart, collecting odds and ends tossed out of wealthy homes. People gave him their old, unfashionable furniture for pennies...much of this furniture ended up in museums! Chippendale, Queen Anne, Hepplewhite...so be careful what you get rid of!
And we know the reason he didn't talk to her. He didn't want to have to act responsibly about her extreme inconsistencies. To interview her prior to the November election would force him to dismiss the charges, but he didn't want to because it would cost him black votes, the only solid voting block he could count on because they were salivating to see rich white boys sent to prison.
Refusing to interview Mangum or read the case file closely after getting the indictments would help him establish plausible deniability when the rubber met the road.
I remember reading that on the early threads back in April or May.
I feel somewhat the same way. With the rats in control, it's going to get worse, too. They've only been in power two weeks and already I have to change the channel when Pelosi, Reid, Kennedy, Durbin, Leahy, and any of the rest of the usual suspects being interviewed or footage of them speaking is shown because the anger in me at their lies and efforts to destroy this country is more than I can deal with.
The reason I believe Nifong never interviewed her was to be able to maintain deniability and continue the case. The last thing he wanted was to sit down with her and have her blurt out that it didn't happen.
IIRC, Shelton said someone should check on the kids during the 911 call. It was released and the audio was on blueline(?) at one time "Someone should probably check on the young ones" something like that. It read and sounded as if she was known to them.
She also asked Brian Taylor to check on the kids according to the N&O article. He said he told her he would, but he did not.
Yes, I concur. The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth will cut through this "damned spot".
New thread, fresh information.

Maybe not simply for deviating from state guidelines, but it would if the line-up was overly suggestive, which it was, imo.
I saw clips of the interview with the parents. I have keen respect for their presentation. We've been witnesses and investigators to a hoax which resembles a Stephen King flick. "Evil Come to Town". (I'm thinking Salem's Lot.) The parents, their sons, and their families have *lived* it.
It has changed them. They have walked amid a burning fire, and come out the other side, stronger.
Yes, there is a problem of racism in this country; but this case has shown it is not quite the case that racialists wish it to appear; and continue to make appear so.
The hoax was fed by the wishful propoganda of those who demand "reparations", legal lynchings, and easy money (aka: life on the cheap).
I've nailed my brother a few times on it and he was told "loud and clear" that I knew his lies were deliberate and that he knew they were deliberate.
The state bar MUST disbar him or forever relegate themselves to irrelevancy. They will not have even the ostensible trust of the people if they don't.
This is a chance for the state bar to act in such a way that restores a bit of public faith in them.
There's another exerpt that more or less says that they knew they were dealing with Crystal. I still think this goes back to the guard at Kroger....that she knew who they were. We have heard little about the guard.
I have a feeling that he was issued a subpoena by at least one of the defense attorneys. The idea that his office protects him from the same is invalid.
Clearly justice has no place at the table in Durham.
He said it out loud. He didn't interview her because he didn't want to wind up as a witness.
I don't give any credence to what he says aloud.
Since when is a miscarriage of justice, as public as this case has become, gone unpunished?
For that they must be punished.
My guess is that the new guy will be little better than Ni-FOG.
