Enjoy your visit to Sanity Island
I listened to the presser today...Pres. Bush sounded as disgusted as he looked.
You could tell he was not in the mood for their stuff.
Off to ice the cake - see you later
Have fun, party girl!
Gates greets General John Abizaid, commander of US Central Command, upon arriving in Baghdad, December 20, 2006. General Peter Pace is seen far left.
Shaking hands with General George Casey, commander of Multinational Forces-Iraq.
LOL -- I am a lot better, but he's not. I have to do the grocery shopping in the morning and rain is forecast. I am going to wear gloves so I don;t pick up germs from the grocery cart I will have to push and I am seriously thinking of wearing a surgical mask. :)
WOO-HOO for you, MM!
***Sure, I'll work on that...***
Hurry!
With General George Casey.
With Army Maj. Gen. Joseph F. Fil Jr., commander of the 1st Cavalry Division. At center is Army Lt. Gen. Ray Odierno, the Number two general in Iraq.
I sent your recipe for Red Velvet Cake to Dolly Cali in FR mail. Thanks again, it turned out perfect.
Wonderful pics of POTUS today! Thank you so much for the Dose. It's marvelous.
Good on him. I am sick to death of them and their damn questions too.
Here in Texas the grocery stores have antiseptic cloths next to the grocery carts for us to wipe the handle off with...
I am always surprised how many people use them...
That is such an excellent idea. He told me to take wipes with me...lol. I will either do that or wear gloves. Have not yet decided. If I wear the surgical mask, I hope nobody will think I'm there to rob the store. :)
Do we like Robert Gates?
You're heading up my way for Christmas?

I am listening to the John Gibson radio show right now.
He has on Griff Jenkins, who used to work with Tony Snow on Tony's radio show.
Griff just got back from being embedded in Iraq for Fox News...and he says the troops are ALL wanting to finish the job to victory.
BUT, he did say that he was really disappointed in Pres. Bush's presser today, because Pres. Bush looked and sounded "depressed" to him...and that Pres. Bush needed to be more "positive" sounding and acting.
He said he called Tony and told him that, which I take as good news...because Griff is trying to HELP Pres. Bush get his message out.
