No troop photos with Kerry

Posted on 12/13/2006 11:56:38 AM PST by debbieargel

Senator Kerry is making a trip to Iraq. I just wanted everyone to know that I am emailing the troops I have addresses for, and asking them not to pose in photos with him. The sole purpose of the trip is to show the American public that everything is o.k. and to get photo ops to send to the AP. This is shameful.

"And I heard a rumor that he's a Vietnam Vet...."

That was for the 2004 campaign. Commodore Kerry has been replaced by Peacenik Kerry.

Thanks, that is the first time in a long time that I have laughed until I cried. It felt great!

I don't suppose its realistic to hope someone frags his a$$? Not really, just wishful thinking.

This is probably a good idea, since any picture of Kerry with the troops would be filled with middle fingers, bronx cheers and bare asses.

It would take a week to photoshop all of them out.

Isn't there some story about him, Christmas and a magic hat?

"They gave me a hat," Mr. Kerry says. "I have the hat to this day," he declares, rising to pull it from his briefcase. "I have the hat."

Wouldn't it be ironic if Kerry missed his flight out, and he would end up being "stuck in Iraq?"

if they "must" pose with him, crossed fingers helps.

That's all I came here to say.

Loved that pic of Kerry at Wendy's and the story...
John Kerry's heavily hyped cross-country bus tour stumbled out of the blocks yesterday, as a group of Marines publicly dissed the Vietnam War hero in the middle of a crowded restaurant.

Kerry was treating running mate Sen. John Edwards and his wife, Elizabeth, to a Wendy's lunch in Newburgh, N.Y., for their 27th wedding anniversary — an Edwards family tradition — when the candidate approached four Marines and asked them questions.

The Marines — two in uniform and two off-duty — were polite but curt while chatting with Kerry, answering most of his questions with a "yes, sir" or "no, sir."

But they turned downright nasty after the Massachusetts senator thanked them "for their service" and left.

"He imposed on us and I disagree with him coming over here shaking our hands," one Marine said, adding, "I'm 100 percent against [him]."

A sergeant with 10 years of service under his belt said, "I speak for all of us. We think that we are doing the right thing in Iraq," before saying he is to be deployed there in a few weeks and is "eager" to go and serve.

The Marines — all of whom serve at nearby Stewart Air Force Base — wouldn't give their names.
Jerk Kerry went a while back to Iraq and his photo ops looked as if they were staged, and the few Mass. Troops who clearly were ordered to pose did not appear to be excited to be with him in the same pictures.

That guy is so over, and I can scarcely contain my glee concerning the fact.

Wouldn't it be great if the soldiers, who ARE forced to pose with him, could set up some kind of signal, hand gesture or something- kind of an inside joke...
