"In God We Trust," the official national motto since 1956 and a familiar sight on U.S. coins and currency, will be hard to find on the new presidential dollar coins scheduled for release to the public Feb. 15, 2007.
The new gold-colored dollar pieces, featuring images of U.S. presidents, will move the inscription from the face of the coin to the thin edge, along with the year and the previous national motto, "E Pluribus Unum," Latin for "Out of Many, One."

I thank you for your prayers and kind words. Thanksgiving was a mixed blessing to be sure. While I dearly miss my dad, I know he is watching us from Heaven and looking out for our son.
How so? It is not establishing any certain religion or forcing anyone to submit thereunder. It is merely an acknowledgement that our country's laws are based upon a belief and trust in God as evidence by our founding documents which include the words:
We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal(by God), that they are endowed, by their Creator (God), with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.....
And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence(!!!!), we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.
Got TONS more of this sort of HISTORICAL evidence but this should give you the basics -- assuming you have the desire to read it.
And here's something ELSE you'd better consider: If your RIGHTS are NOT GOD-GIVEN, about the only entity with the power to give and secure such rights is the STATE. And, since a STATE can take those rights back, you're on VERY SHAKY HISTORICAL GROUND.

You are quoting the Declaration, which has no legal authority other than declaring us free from England. Our laws are based on the Constitution, a decidedly SECULAR document.
A flawed argument. The Founders were mostly Deists, and they believed in Natural Rights, not "God-Given" Rights. One need not believe in a Supreme Being in order to declare that your rights come from something other than the State.
I wonder what the HRC Coin will say?
And these dollars may actually get used a lot, as our money continues to be devalued. Soon, dollars will be used for what quarters could previously buy, just like quarters are now used for what dimes or even pennies could once buy.
