Please send up healing prayers for our own YaYa123. YaYa had surgery Tuesday and is now home from the hospital recovering. I know she would appreciate receiving your good thoughts and wishes for. (You know she won't be able to resist logging in from time to time.)

YaYa, I am so sorry I'm so late to this thread. I was sidelined by a short - but thankfully temporary - illness, and am now very behind with Christmas preparations. I haven't been on FR as much as usual lately.
You are in my thoughts and prayers, FRiend... I hope you are up and around and feeling as good as new as I type this. :o)

I really, really, really appreciate the prayers and kind words I find here, just for me. I thank each and everyone who has me in their thoughts.
Election day was such a bummer, and it was my birthday too, but the day before, finding out I had endometrial cancer sort of put political things in perspective, if you know what I mean. Since then, I've had and recovered well from surgery, the docs are very optimistic, and my (very sweet) husband tells me he's always liked bald headed women, so I'm not too scared about the chemo and radiation treatments which start tomorrow.
I'm not posting so much, (who knows what I'd write when I'm drugged up), but I read everything trying not to get too far out of the FreeRepublic loop. I love you guys.
