Excerpt -

MEXICO CITY (AFP) - Defeated leftist presidential candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador donned a "presidential sash" before a crowd of thousands, calling himself Mexico's legitimate leader.

Lopez Obrador called for "the start of construction of a new republic against a neo-fascist oligarchy" and announced the formation of a "parallel government" to "protect the rights of the people."

In a symbolic "inauguration" in the capital city's central square, he said "it is an honor to be the legitimate president of Mexico."

Followers of his Democratic Revolutionary Party (PRD) have threatened to disrupt president-elect Felipe Calderon's December 1 inauguration. Calderon is succeeding President Vicente Fox.

Wasn't that long ago that the Mexicans had a really bloody civil war that ended in dictatorship. Sounds like they're fixing to have another one.

It would be nice to have some real border control when that war kicks off. Sigh

Believe me, Kerry and all the Dems are watching eagerly. After all, Obrador got his "object to the election" technique from the Dems, and I'll bet they are going to learn a few techniques from him now.

The sooner they get it on and let the blood flow, the sooner they may be able to build a legitimate functioning country.

It can't happen too soon.

Calderon is the equivalent to a RINO anyway, doesn't matter who's President down there.

Americans should boycott travel to Mexico.
