I never bet on this game. Anything can happen and it always does. I remember back in the 70's when Bo came to Columbus with a #1 team. Woody was waiting with over 100 players suited up. Michigan lost that one along with their #1 ranking and a trip to the Rose Bowl.

But I've been saying all season long that Michigan would win this game (22-21) because it seemed to me that they had all of the psychological force behind them. That's some psychological force if you have them winning by only one point. *spit*
So I predict Michigan in double digits. [duck]
LOL.

Prayers for his surviving family and all Big Blue fans. I remember watching Michigan teams as a youngster and I'm still a fan today. Beat the buckeyes!

I've been a Hawkeye fan my entire life, and I remember many a match-up against Bo and his team. They were always tough, tough opponents and we usually got our butts beat.
RIP, Bo.

May Coach Schembechler rest in peace. How very sad. Does anyone know his age? He and Woody will have a great time watching from above.
As much as Ohioans like to Michiganders a hard time, for my part I'd like them to know that they are not really hated, that this is just a great rivalry. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your loss of Coach S.

I listened to Bo talk to a crop of new players years back. The ideals he expressed are the ideals we at FreeRepublic espouse, of the honorable way to achieve victory.
I was moved and inspired listening to him.
One of the the greats has gone on.

Yes, I was just pointing out the irony. And getting in a good natured dig at those folks up north.

Bo might have been the first human being to inspired hate in my youthful mind. :)
As I matured, I grew to respect and admire him. After all, he was one of Woody's great friends.
May he rest in peace.

I'm a Michigan grad married to an OSU grad. I have nothing but good thoughts for both Bo and Woody. They'll be shaking hands for the game tomorrow in my heart.
