I just received a private e-mail from someone I know from a Marine website who has family in Iraq. There has been a weapons cache explosion that caused many, hundreds of people to be exposed to some chemical that was present in the weapons.
It would appear to me that if this is true that some of the cable news reporters would be affected as well.
Excellent rant... I think I'll save it...
I'd love to hear Skullhead Colmes try to weasel his way out of this if true.
You are assuming reporters were at the scene. They may not have been.
Sure, everything I said was nonsense. I think you proved my point about not listening to alternatives.
BTW - the caps lock on for certain points in your post is truly convincing... I never read an entire post - just what the poster wants me to read via accentuation.
Where was this Race....in Baghdad?
Ooo, like Dan Rather? Well, that wouldn't be such a great loss, now would it?
I wish the drive by media were all over there for some kind of awards ceremony.
MSM Mantra: IF IT HELPS BUSH, BURY IT: However you can. Period.
If anyone thinks that our men/women in uniform blew up a weapons cache & found WMD, and the MSM will be cutting each other down to break the story first... you have a terrible memory.
Still think we DIDN'T find any WMD in Iraq?
Here is ONE story about WMD found in Iraq... and it was ANTHRAX:
In Dec 2003, UNMOVIC found a bunch of bombs (exact number unknown, up to poss. 1400) filled with anthrax. The strain of anthrax was the same strain Iraq previously said it weaponized, but also destroyed. So, this story was released not only after the discovery of the bombs, but after their contents were tested, confirmed, and then compared to earlier strains of said contents. WMD.
TWO media outlets carried the story online: USATODAY and CANOE, Canada (Canoe's link no longer works).
Not many people heard about THAT one either.
Thank you for this information, Race. Please keep us posted.
Great post. And I like your tag line!
Here's a better Google News search:

Thank you.
IMO, RaceBannon and I respect you - this should be pulled.
Great - slam - bam - wham - there actually was WMD in Iraq. Now what?

Then you admit you didn't even read the whole post! And this on top of completely ignoring my first post calling you out on this. And then you have the chutzpah to tell ME (uh-oh, the dread block caps!) that I'm the one who doesn't want to hear alternatives?
So I'll bite -- go ahead and EXPLAIN your alternative. MAKE THE CASE for it. Don't run for the exit from this debate Dem-style, stand up and make your case. (And try not to be so easily distracted by the BLOOOOOCK CAAAAAAAAAPPPPPS!!!!!!)
Again, so what? Add something constructive to how we now win this war.
It seems too close to Baghdad to be kept so quiet,,so.....
I can believe keeping it quiet for a few hours, but an entire day?
