I just received a private e-mail from someone I know from a Marine website who has family in Iraq. There has been a weapons cache explosion that caused many, hundreds of people to be exposed to some chemical that was present in the weapons.
What does that have to do with the price of tea in China?
Well stated and until collaborated by more sources than one E-mail twice removed it might better be considered "Breaking Rumor."
Which one?
If "he" felt the report was credible enough to post here, especially in "Breaking News", that's good enough for me.
I guess you put me in my place with that one.
I am trying to confirm it now, waiting for a response
I have been wrong before, but I never posted somethig that I doubted without stating it was doubtful.
I trust my source and stick by my story.
If it is false or exaggerated, I will mea culpa openly. :)
By the way, I was given this information because I was posting JVERITAS translation and other news articles on WMD's for some time on another website.
I was his trusted source to reveal it.
Has this source given you credible information in the past?
If true it surprises me that some of the cable news reporters in Iraq would not be affected by this and broadcast it, especially Fox News and their every 15 minutes breaking news alerts.
If it was a nerve agent or Sarin the symptoms would be all the dead people laying around the site. That would happen within minutes of the explosion.
Well, potentially, you can be libel for sending false or inflammatory information via email. Especially if you knew it was false at the time and the information was determined to be actionable. Someone called 'Foley' comes to mind.
You know Jim, even if your e-mail account turns out to be true I have to ask - what does it matter? A "I told you so" to the Dems? This has been going on long enough - we are losing this war and have to find a way to win...
I hope you get a response soon. There are many Freepers that have family members, friends serving in Iraq that may be concerned, worried about this.
Could the more toxic agents degrade over time and not be as effective as they were when 'fresh'.
LOL! So, who's going to sue, the terrorists for giving them a bad name?
I'd love to, but its been deleted.
But the Demorats trying to trash America have maintained there were NO WMDs in Iraq and NO CHEMICAL WEAPONS!!! My Gosh, were they lieing to us to help the terrorists? or worse to undermine Our Nation??????
Thanks for the ping!
BTTT - PRAYERS UP.
