Is anyone else getting this type of format when clicking on Browse?
To: Sally'sConcerns
Yeah, I saw it the other day. When I refreshed, it dissapeared.

I've been seeing strange things on here for about a week or so. Things like you posted, and weird characters appearing too.

No, although I have had other problems at FR over the past few weeks.

You may be having index or counter problems on the database.
To: sageb1
The weirdest was the thread with the Homeland Security certificate that kept popping up.

I had a period of about 2 hours when I absolutely couldn't access the site. Monday, I think.

Yes, I've been seeing this a lot as well. It seems like the connection is being interrupted before the perl script fully forms the page, or something like that....
To: mutley
It's been about a week for me too. I haven't seen any weird characters but this has happened 5-6 times.

I was getting similar stuff on another site(iboats) this morning. I would click on a thread and they were blank. I even went back to threads I had already read and they were blank. I had to run and haven't made it back to that site yet.
Seems Normal in Breaking News on FR though.
Using Mozilla 1.5.

So did I. Other websites were loading ok, but not FR. I don't remember it being for 2 hours, though.

Copied this the other day, so can't give a source:
"It is time zero in Unix. If you had been browsing the FR site from some place in Asia, Africa or Europe, it would have said 1/1/1970, due to the timezone difference. In any case, it means that an internal timestamp was all zeros.
"Given that you say the post was empty as well, this suggests a hiccup in the FR post tracking software, creating empty posts with zeros for the timestamp."

Yep. I've seen this off and on the last few days.
FR has been very sluggish lately. Anyone know what's up?
