Anyone notice that the dems aren't conceding gracefully like the republicans did?
Yeah, but eight seats aren't going to make a difference in majority.
Yeah, but even if we got all eight of these in the House, they would still have the majority. Right?
"Much vaulted". Must be an Ohio State grad.
I though JD Hayworth was waiting for some ballots to be counted also.
Democrats will do anything, say anything and act downright nasty in order to win.
The MSM packages it for them and...voila!...they win.
Republicans cheated! Diebold machines!
Nice to see they have their priorities straight. Go Blue.
PING
Only in Florida.
Might as well throw all the (R) bums out while we're at it... :)
"Ohio Republican Rep. Jean Schmidt, who called Democratic Rep. John Murtha a coward,"
Isn't this libel? I was watching that incident live and she never came out and said, "John Murtha, you are a coward" though the Marine's quote implied as much--did she actually call him a coward at another time, and I just missed it?
MSM and Move-on say it's over and that is what counts.
"Rep. Barbara Cubin, who threatened to slap her wheelchair-bound Libertarian opponent after a debate, is ahead by fewer than a thousand votes in her Wyoming contest."
I don't know what happened, and Cubin should have kept her cool, but it these Libertarian candidates really do damage in close red-state races. They basically do nothing but take votes from the Republican candidate and say things that make the Republican look bad. I can see why Cubin might have been furious with the Libertarian candidate.
"Conservative" third parties should do what the Conservative Party in NY used to do -- force the GOP to nominate someone who the Conservative party would be willing to endorse and then not run their own candidate.
They would run their own candidate only if the race wasn't going to be close, if the Republicans nominated a real liberal bozo, or if they genuinely thought they could win (which they sometimes did -- something no Libertarian candidate will ever do.)
Rep. Barbara Cubin, who threatened to slap her wheelchair-bound Libertarian opponent after a debate, is ahead by fewer than a thousand votes in her Wyoming contest.
Nope, no bias in the press. No spin at all, please move along folks.
-"In the Columbus, Ohio- area, elections officials are delaying the count of more than 9,000 provisional ballots by one day so it doesn't disrupt the much-vaulted Ohio State-Michigan football game on Nov. 18."-
Why didn't they just move election day to the end of the football season? Why bother having elections at all? After football there's like, hockey, basketball, baseball, then probably some olympics somewhere, skating, badmitton...
Rep. Schmidt read the opinion of a constituent, a Marine officer, I believe.
I don't know Breitbart.com but the person who typed in this article is too lazy to check facts or a liar.
And I don't care one whit that MSM employees, like Howard Kurtz, object to Ms Schmidt reading the officer's letter.
To wit, Kurtz typed in this: "But when she attacks [Murtha] by attributing the denunciation to some colonel, let's be clear: She's still attacking him. The device of attributing it to someone else is just that, a device used by professional politicians."
The "device" is also used far, far too much by MSM employees -- the difference is the MSM employees claim their "sources" must remain anonymous -- sure. Today's MSM employees are skid marks on journalism's undershorts, Mr. Kurtz.
NOW thats strange... Queer even.. even the dead voting seems to be accepted..
When they count the provisional ballots, do they make sure they are good votes? I seem to recall that the provisional ballots are those people who may have voted that were not qualified to vote, and thus the reason for casting a provisional ballot. If they are just counting them, they could all be fraud votes.
