Rep. Schmidt read the opinion of a constituent, a Marine officer, I believe.
I don't know Breitbart.com but the person who typed in this article is too lazy to check facts or a liar.
And I don't care one whit that MSM employees, like Howard Kurtz, object to Ms Schmidt reading the officer's letter.
To wit, Kurtz typed in this: "But when she attacks [Murtha] by attributing the denunciation to some colonel, let's be clear: She's still attacking him. The device of attributing it to someone else is just that, a device used by professional politicians."
The "device" is also used far, far too much by MSM employees -- the difference is the MSM employees claim their "sources" must remain anonymous -- sure. Today's MSM employees are skid marks on journalism's undershorts, Mr. Kurtz.
"I don't know Breitbart.com but the person who typed in this article is too lazy to check facts or a liar."
Surely by now you understand the Drive-by Democrat-Media MO:
- For any newsworthy Republican figure, they have a negative talking point. It may be irrelevent to the article, but that's not the point .. the point the MSM is trying to get across is to make you dislike Republicans. Facts dont matter - look at the Plame affair.
If the shoe were on the other foot, it would look like:
Jim Webb, who as a fiction writer wrote descriptions of pedophilia, barely beat George Allen in a very close election.
Bob Menendez, accused of corruption and kickbcks as Hudson country political 'boss', defeated Tom Kean Jr, son of the popular and respected former Governor Tom Kean.
Harold Ford, who admitted attending a Playboy party at the suprebowl saying "I like girls and football", lost to Corker.
Claire McCaskill, who in a debate claimed that Bush was manipulating gas prices, won in a close race against jim Talent.
