"The Dems have 2 years to screw it up so I say LET THEM!"
Hahaha, that's exactly what I said the the Liberal dude that works next door. He couldn't wait to come into my office this morning to rub it in. He actually came in here before he unlocked his own door!

>>>>COMPASSIONATE CONSERVATISM IS DEADThank God.
Since he took office PresBush has moved the GOP moved away from conservatism and ALL Republicans paid a dear price at the polls yesterday. Now we have at least two years of social liberalism to look forward to, if not longer. Lets see if PresBush is better with the veto pen when his party isn't in power. And of course the WOT and the battle for Iraq will probably suffer serious consequences. All in all, not a good day for America.

..Bill Kristol is now saying Rumsfeld will submit his resignation and Bush will accept it....What can be said?... It is a "different world" today politically. I LIKE Rumfsfeld... and I admire the president for not giving in to the left and removing him but today... everything has changed: Rumsfeld out of the picture is possible. There is no question the left hates him... maybe removing him will defuse that and we can now move forward in Iraq and do what has to be done.

Today, the following will happen:
1) Libby gets a pardon
2) Sadr City will be reduced to ambers
3) oh by the way, we killed Zarahiri and Bin Laden last week.

Ya gotta look at the good things that will happen as a result of this Democratic win:
-the whole World will love us;
-we'll have no more corruption in Washington (or anywhere else);
-we'll find a cure for Parkinson's;
-the lion will lie down with the lamb;
-the meek will inherit the Earth

I think Andy Card was responsible for Bush not pushing back against the lies. After Snow took over, they DID start fighting, having more pressers, etc., but by then it was too little, too late, IMO.

Bush won't get rid of Rumsfeld (he said as much) and he SHOULDN'T! If the Dems had their way they would impeach the whole White House, their cabinets and everyone down the line.

Rummy is toast. This is politics. You need a whipping boy when things don't go your way, and if voters are as pissed about Iraq as they seemed yesterday, the obvious one is Rumsfeld.

It was Andy Card, but it was also Bush and the "new tone." That silliness went on until Tony Snow. And like you said, too little too late.
To: Stallone
Bush is not a conservative. Never was, never will be. Just check his spending.

You are right, they choose to believe a lie. Well, they will find out, won't they?

Rick Santorum remained close to his principles and he's such a nice guy. Yet he lost. And what about Bob Ehrlich in Merryland? Here's a guy doing a fantastic job in a solidly blue state yet he was essentially FIRED against an avid airhead, Baltimore Mayor O'Malley. O'Malley accomplished exactly nothing during his tenure as mayor yet the guy gets elected as Governor over a nice guy like Ehrlich.
That is easy to answer. O'Malley won because of a large concentration of "welfare state" and "pro illegal" votes near Baltimore and DC. The other 3/4ths of MD voted heavily Republican. My county voted just shy of 70% for Ehrlich. I expect this to become a financial disaster for MD. Everyone in MD should expect large tax increases, obscene government spending increases, and our surplus turning overnight into a large deficit. Some of the vote no doubt went to O'Malley because of recent BGE price increases. The fools who voted that way have seen nothing yet.

I hope we don't have to find out.

Actually the facts prove otherwise. This has been one of the best run wars in history. Check it out for yourself.
My husband was fighting Muslim's many years ago during the cold war. They are not going away, and this war may never be over in our lifetimes.
