Good points!
And the blue collar guy (what's left)- sits down and watches the 6:30 news every night bashing the President and the Republican "scandal machine' ..that didn't help.
Lots of those guys voted Reagan in the 80s...

4. The President has failed for 6 years to educate the American people and rally them behind the troops. I love W, but his White house has been the worst communicators in my lifetime. If W had been using the phrase "Islamic Fascists" for 5 years, the Republicans would be in a lot better shape.

I like what you said. It is true about Bush. He fought for what he felt was the right thing to do even at risk for his party's political survival. And that is true leadership. I may disagree with our President on a few topics, but I respect a man who isn't after popularity and bl**jobs. The history books will bear out that he was a good President for the country and the world.

Whatever happened to the Lynn Swann campaign? There was a Lynn Swann campaign? Hmmm...someone seems to have forgotten to notify him (or the voters)...

Please tell Mr. Bush and Mr. Rove! Amnesty equals more Democrats equals death for Republican Party! They can't hear you; Nancy Pelosi, who wants to just let in everybody in Mexico, is standing between you and him.
Hope you can speak Spanish.

Yes, people thought Clinton was a centrist, and then he nominated Lani Guinere for the Supreme Court.

Correct. When has government ever reversed perceived entitlements? Once NHC is signed, it is here forever.

I'm looking forward to the Governator's victory speech-should be one of the few bright spots in this long dark night.

You are making too much sense, as usual. Why are you here tonight?
I haven't heard anyone explain why the Republican Senator with the largest victory margin by far is not conservative.
I swear there are people here who would think running Alan Keyes in a primary against Olympia Smowe would be brilliant strategery.
Then there are the people complaining that we lost because they cheated. They sound like a coach complaining that a blown call by an official is the reason the team lost by three touchdowns.
Forget Patton. He's not our model this year. We need the words of my personal favorite Republican General, Joe Stilwell:
"I claim we got a hell of a beating. We got run out of the House and it is humiliating as hell. I think we have to find out what happened, go back and retake it."

Very, very well said! *standing ovation*
I won't be crying in my coffee tomorrow.
The Dems didn't win...the Repubs lost. Let them learn from it.
