Please Mods can we have one central Live thread ...its tough jumping from thread to thread to get results.
Yes, and the young woman that asked to come to my house for Thanksgiving is in law school and wants to work for the ACLU. I don't think that I can take it.
What about the good news in Iraq? What about the fact we are killing thousands of terrorits?
Why focus on the negative? If they did that in WWII we'd have lost after the first year when everything went wrong.
Don't look now, but the black helicopters are over your house.

Can't blame it all on the libs ... look at these numbers by counties up state
There is no good reason Casey's numbers should be that high

The reasoning is just insane.
99.10%
G F Allen Republican 1,139,550 49.43%
J H Webb Jr Democratic 1,137,793 49.36%
Allen will not lose this one.
Philip...uhm, no. I'm NOT ENJOYING THIS....I'm downright pissed off right now that this country is this friggin dumb to throw this election this way. But hey, nearly half the country voted for Kerry so why should I be shocked.
We lost it all.
With satellite radio and internet media, you can get broadcasts -- clear as a bell -- that are emanating from anywhere in the world.
Here's a good example of what I mean . . . a friend of mine in Canada had a satellite radio subscription five years before he was "allowed" to have it under Canadian law. That means the Canadian government was no more capable of regulating satellite radio units than they were of regulating those 5 million unregistered firearms.
Ronald Reagan would not have presided over this debacle.
Ronald Reagan presided over a worse debacle in 1986.

Good point. There was that amnesty thing, even then.
So if Republicans are going to sell us out, and Democrats are going to sell us out - who cares about elections?
(only half joking)
Do we need a new party? A cross between the GOP, and the Libertarians?
You know - people who aren't stoned, but who still believe in freedoms and putting America first?
I respectfully disagree. I don't think the Dems are going to go on a tear of loony lefty legislation. They're going to "talk moderate" and bash Bush. Their biggest problem will be the net nutjobs. But even they will fall in line in hopes of creating a governing majority (which they may very well do).
Face it. We frittered away the majority we had. I'm not sure we could have done anything to satisfy a country that just wants to get back to the "good ole days" before 9/11.
I hate to say it, but it may be a long time before we claw our way back.
And you win second place for the dumbest post of the night.
Webb up now.
Dream on. Part of the reason it looks like we're going to lose the senate tonight is because of jellyfish Republicans in the senate. They never get mad, and that's the problem.

I have to wonder whether there was an effort to help certain Republicans lose, given the comments coming out of the White House tonight regarding border security. That was very dissappointing to hear.
Oh please. Stop whining.
I agree. Bush is a great man. God Bless him - and God Bless America!
