If Bush and Republicans would have at least made a SERIOUS and STRONG effort to stop illegal immigration and get rid of the parasites already here they would have done much better at the polls. It was obvious that Bush didn't take the problem serious and only addressed the issue when pressured by the people and the few Politicians that did take a strong stand on this illegal invasion.

Money section in USA Today said they can see stocks heading higher - after months of the downer reporting in spite of good news.

"I could DEFINITELY go for President Santorum!" No thanks.
Ya know, Santorum wouldn't be my first choice either, but I would be happy to see him as our next President. I certainly wouldn't go out of my way with all the crappy pols we have in this country, to take time and effort to post a "no thanks!" to him.
Santorum lost and poeple like you helped.
Thanks.

Too bad Granholm won.How is the Legislature shaping up? She can't do much with Republicans blocking her path.

Not saying he deserves it at all. I'm just saying if the dems control the house and senate, they'll go for it. Sure, plenty of people will be pissed, but more will just shrug and be convinced by the media / dem machine that it's the right thing to do.

For once I think the pundits were correct - it was about the war - all of us wish it would have gone better and the voters are making all the "R"s pay regardless of an alternative plan by any of the "D"s. It's OK - if Republicans hold the Senate we shouldn't cry in our beer.
