All right, folks. Guess I have to do it again around here and hand out the chill pills.
1) It is absolutely clear to me that we have won this. We will keep the Senate, and I'm 90% sure we keep the House. We'll probably gain a seat, maybe two in the Senate.
2) I know this from the turnout numbers, just as I did in 2004. The fact is, forget Indies. They don't vote in high numbers. It's all about the two parties, and who gets out their base.
We have done that today beyond my wildest expectations. The info we have from the Hotline on turnout is overwhelming, and in virtually every key state, we have exceeded Dem turnout by 2, 3, 4, or 6%.
As I predicted, we are seeing a Dem UNDERVOTE. They are underperforming, esp. in key states such as OH. However, they are underperforming far worse than even I dreamed. We are looking at 20% in Cuyahoga County! Brown and Strickland couldn't get elected dog catcher with that level of support.
SO HERE IS WHAT TO EXPECT: THE MEDIA IDIOTS HAVE THEIR TEMPLATES. THEY WILL BE VERY SLOW TO COME AROUND. IT WILL BE A LONG NIGHT, BECAUSE THEY WON'T BELIEVE THEIR EYES.
They may even "call" a few House races, maybe a Senate race, based on some ridiculously low "exit poll" and have to recant later. Be patient. The turnout numbers suggest we absolutely cannot lose.

Bingo.
It ain't over 'til it's over.
I expect we'll see a lot of "shuffling" of some traditional seats, but the Republicans will add one or two to the Senate and at least four to the House.
_____________
Let hope, but it's looking bad in the hot Senate races.
"Dickerson up in IN-17 (pickup), one of the two GA races is a pickup, the other close; Sekula-Gibbs walking away with the Delay seat. Foley's seat has Negron ahead, although it's close."
btw...for folks who aren't paying attention, just a few weeks ago, those races weren't on anyone's radar. They were all going to go Dem... ;O)
There's a lot of other races around the nation just like them...
Fox News Radio has really stunk up the joint.
Where will we pickup Senate Seats?
I know there are shenigans everywhere. Here there were some electioneering people clearly not from Missouri. I asked a few and said they were promised alcohol and paid to hand out literature.
Totally agree.
The socialist/Marxist/liberal media is the most destructive, relentless, and ruthless enemy of this Republic.

Do not fear the enemy, for your enemy can only take your life. It is far better that you fear the press, for they will steal your HONOR. That awful power, the public opinion of a nation, is created in America by a horde of ignorant, self-complacent simpletons who failed at ditching and shoemaking and fetched up in journalism on their way to the poorhouse. -Mark Twain

"A nation can survive its fools and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and he carries his banners openly against the city. But the traitor moves among those within the gates freely, his sly whispers rustling through all alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears no traitor; he speaks in the accents familiar to his victim, and he wears their face and their garments and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation; he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city; he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared. The traitor is the plague." - Marcus Tullius Cicero, Roman Orator --- 106-43 B.C.
9:01 PM CNN called Spitzer for NY Gov. How di they cout all those votes in 1 minute?

I know this sounds very cynical, but it's likely that most of these premature election calls for democRATs by the MSM are intended to demoralize GOP turnout on the West Coast, where polls are still open. Republicans in the far West are going to have to learn to not listen to the news until after they vote, because this will only get worse in the future. I don't think these "calls" will have any significant effect on turnout, because I think very few people listen to the election news until after they vote. People vote in the morning before work or on their way home from work, then listen to the results.
Look, I went to bed sick in 2000 because I saw how the Rats were stealing the election. I actually cried like a baby.
After much prayer, I came to the understanding that God was in control and whatever happened was going to be ok. In the morning, I found out what had happened (and nicely avoided stroking out) and the rest is history.
If we lose, there is a reason that God wants the democrats to hold some power. Perhaps it is to teach them a lesson, perhaps to calm the nation, perhaps to get them to support the war. His ways aren't our ways.
On the other hand, if we win, perhaps God is teaching the democrats another sort of lesson.
We will just have to pray for the best and wait and see. I refuse to let these people make me sick, and I refuse to give them any of my attention. One thing I have decided over the last few days is that I spend too much time watching Fox. I have volunteered to work at my Church and at my grandson's grade school, and I am going to get busy doing productive things, rather than listening to Bill Kristol smirk. It would please me if Fox lost another 25% in ratings because of their obvious kowtowing to the democrats. I hope the whole damn bunch of newsies end up out of work.
Going now to check The Dose and America the Right Way.
Now, that's an idea I could go for!
Professor LS, thank you for being a voice of reason. I live in the FL district of Clay Shaw. Any word of how it looks for him against Klein?
I know Virginia, and I believe the rural areas south and west will be slow reporting. They are conservative.
CNN just called OH for Dem.
I hope so much that you are right, and believe you are. How can NJ and PA already be called for the DEMS? They certainly can't have that many precints in already, can they?
Hewitt mentioned the Shaw race as close awhile ago.
Allen will win.
Fairly heavy turnout in Nevada from what I can tell. But many voters here po'ed at the Reps over immigration.Could be a long night.
