No kidding (although I hate using communist terms for liberal areas), that is definitely a liberal bastion.
How is the Shenandoah Valley doing? IIRC, that is the most conservative region.
To: SoftballMominVA
Good grief. Hope nobody's got to be at work early tomorrow.

Just saw some numbers fro GA on TV. Mac Collins was winning 52-48. That's good.

Pelosi isn't the only show.
I would love to see major infighting in the Dem party.

It's been like that for the 40+years I've lived here.
Here in Arkansas its 150 years Democrat...6 years Republican....150 years Democrat. I like your system better.

Webb up by 38 votes after 35% of precincts reporting. This looks like it will be a close one. That Green lady is probably getting cursed-out by the Dummies about now.
To: LibertyGirl77
That's true; suburbs are harder to predict nowadays due to urban flight.
To: Moose4
I for one have already told mine I will be in late.

One of the biggest cities in the Commonwealth is Virginia Beach. It was a conservative place years ago. Anyone know how VA Beach votes these days?

isn't an Allen 25% Webb 75% split in Richmond pretty decent? I see Allen has come along side now...
To: Moose4
You're about 1/3 the way through the counting and both are essentially tied.
The Allen/webb election is going to go to the 95+% point before you're going to know who won. If then.

Allen - 353,830 50%
Webb - 353,128 49%
(about 35% in)
Allen by 702 as per CNN

Just saw some numbers fro GA on TV. Mac Collins was winning 52-48. That's good. That is VERY good news as that would be a GOP pickup and would help out cancel out Dem gains elsewhere. There is another good chance for a GOP pickup in GA as well.
To: SoftballMominVA
Wow, Webb and Allen tied at 49.39%? Has CNN called for Webb yet? :0)

The reports I saw (early) were heavy Allen. Augusta County, 2:1 Allen; Clarke County, 60% Allen. Now the page links are gone. The Valley is going to have to pull very hard on this one. And yes, it's one of the most conservative parts of the state.
