DES MOINES, Iowa A Democratic Congressional candidate from Iowa is canceling a campaign event later this week with Senator John Kerry.
Brucy Braley says Kerry's recent comments about the Iraq war were inappropriate. Braley's decision to distance himself from Kerry came as a furor grew from comments Kerry made about the Iraq War during a campaign stop in California on Monday.

Now isn't that a special state for a candidate to blow off Kerry....
Kerry must be crying like a baby tonight.
LOL - great stuff.
Quotes from John Kerry, just to refresh our memory:
"And there is no reason, Bob, that young American soldiers need to be going into the homes of Iraqis in the dead of night, terrorizing kids and children, you know, women, breaking sort of the customs of the of the historical customs, religious customs," Kerry said. "Whether you like it or not ... Iraqis should be doing that."
"They told stories at times they had personally raped, cut off ears, cut off heads, taped wires from portable telephones to human genitals and turned up the power, cut off limbs, blown up bodies, randomly shot at civilians, razed villages in fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan, shot cattle and dogs for fun, poisoned food stocks and generally ravaged the countryside of South Vietnam in addition to the normal ravage of war, and the normal and particular ravaging which is done by the applied bombing power of this country,"
Scraping the slime off of the walk way must be quite a job.
Let Kerry keep yakking, he is actually doing the Republicans a favor by showing his true colors (and that of the Donks as well).
I am confused. Why would there be any furor over Kerry's comments about the Iraq War? The MSM has assured me that the public agrees with the democrats about the Iraq War. They don't support the War in any way shape or form. Thus, why would a crack about our troops in Iraq cause democrats any concern?
Could it be perhaps that the MSM's action line on Iraq has missed the point? The public is not for quiting, but for achieving victory in Iraq. Kerry's comments serve as a stark reminder that the democrats are for quitting, something thatthey have tried to make the public forget. I certainly hope the Republicans drive that point home.
Oh No!!! How are Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann and Markos going to limit this story to a single day now???
Kerry had just seen his future flash before his eyes...
Guess he saw the writing on the wall, huh?
...And to think there are still some people who think this will just dry up and blow away.
I hardly think so.
Especially since he Kerry refuses to scrape the dog crap from his shoes.
