I am confused. Why would there be any furor over Kerry's comments about the Iraq War? The MSM has assured me that the public agrees with the democrats about the Iraq War. They don't support the War in any way shape or form. Thus, why would a crack about our troops in Iraq cause democrats any concern?
Could it be perhaps that the MSM's action line on Iraq has missed the point? The public is not for quiting, but for achieving victory in Iraq. Kerry's comments serve as a stark reminder that the democrats are for quitting, something thatthey have tried to make the public forget. I certainly hope the Republicans drive that point home.
Because, for the most part, criticism of the war has been localized to the Bush Admin. This time, he's directly criticizing the troops, basically calling us all idiots. That's not exactly pragmatic politics.
