My wife just called and notified me that our son-in-law just passed away.

He was 34 years old and it appears that he either had a heart attack or a stroke.

There are complications, my wife is in Flint, Michigan on business, my son-in-law passed away in Jackson, Missouri and I am in Pekin, Illinois. My wife can't get a flight to St.Louis, rent a car and get there as fast as she can by driving straight through.

I am waiting for my son and then I will drive down there and join her. None of us have had any sleep but we have to get down there to be with our daughter.

So so very sad. When sudden tragedy envelopes a family, it's so hard .. to bear and to understand. God be with you during this agonizing time .. every second, every step. He is in charge .. He is with you .. He is your source of everything you need right now .. strength, peace, comfort and healing in your grieving ... as you face the days ahead. His plan is mystifying and yet sovereign. Dear Lord, lay your infinite blessings on this your grieving family.
