WASHINGTON Former military generals are criticizing anti-war groups for helping to organize active-duty soldiers to urge Congress to end the war in Iraq. In interviews yesterday, the generals were careful to say they have no objection to enlisted soldiers petitioning Congress as private citizens. It is a different matter, however, to coordinate this drive so close to the midterm elections and publicize it with the aid of anti-war organizations, they said. Yesterday, a company that does public relations for the liberal activist political action committee MoveOn.org, Fenton Communications, organized a conference call for reporters and three active-duty soldiers to unveil the soldiers' anti-war group Appeal for Redress.

Look closely and you'll find a budding young John Kerry. Look closer and you'll see Fat Ted's hand up his butt.

I'm a Sig fan myself. I love my P226 9 mm in stainless. It weighs in at 42 ozs. so I can handle the recoil better than the plastic guns.
Some folks call it "ugly" but I like its simplicity and reliability.

That is probably my next pistol. How could anyone call it ugly?

125 'active duty' soldiers have so far signed up- that is less than .027% of the entire U.S military- That's pathetically low- & it also means that a vast majority don't hold their view. Brilliant strategy- Me thinks the left is getting desperate.

I hope any person they coerce into helping them understands the possible legal pitfalls under the UCMJ. They (military personnel) would have to be VERY careful what they said.

There should be an expansion unit built at Leavenworth for these pieces of crap. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that these jackasses have been problem children in their units for their entire enlistments - each has probably got a counseling packet as thick as a phone book. And I wonder how many of these POS's has a) been to Iraq and b) actually fired their weapons for any reason other than a test fire in Iraq. 0.27% of the 0.27%, perhaps?

less than .02% of the military, 120 or so- ungrateful whelps who signed up with the military for free education and training but who didn't want to honor their oath to protect htis country. Freeloaders in other words- Ungrateful freeloaders at that- people who were asked to protect this country, but who don't feel it's their obligation and who became upset when asked to do so. The dems should be so proud that they found .02% of soldiers who aren't patriotic, and who just wanted somethign for nothing. These 'soldiers' (and I use the term very loosley) pretty much represent the dem ideals I guess-

Waste. No. Time. Get yourself lots of tinfoil, form it to fit your head, and don't take it off. Ever.
What about aluminum? Will aluminum foil work? What about plastic wrap, or wax paper?

Okay. I wrapped all of my extremities in aluminum foil, then wrapped my entire body in plastic wrap, and I'm chewing on a piece of wax paper. I feel better now. My heartburn went away almost instantly and I think I might have cured myself of bipolar disorder.
