See for yourself. CNN Headline News reports on Harold Ford, Jr.s campaign advisers claim (in response to a newspapers report that he never passed the bar examination) that he never held himself out to be a lawyer. Then, on CNN, Harold Ford states Im a lawyer.
He said it more than once.
Perhpas he just stayed at a Holiday Express.
Depends on what the meaning of lawyer is.
I'm having difficulty seeing your point.
What's wrong with his comment?
He merely echoes his Democrat
mentors.
"I voted for it before I voted against it."

LOL ping.
For Libs, history starts when they get up in the morning.
CNN: These are not the droids you are looking for.
I passed the bar exam before I failed it.
It doesn't matter to liberals they have their candidate. They will vote for him even if he is found in bed with a live boy or a dead girl. Even if after this they find that a Republican has sent an 18 year old a dirty IM they will scream about the Republican culture of corruption.
Besides Ford denied saying it, do you really think liberals care if he said it or not? Lying is their way of life.
Will Ford campaign call this racist too? After all, any criticism of a minority is racism.
It's clear that he is saying "liar", not "lawyer". So whenever you think that he's saying he's a lawyer, he's really saying that he's a liar.
Ford is a graduate of the Klinton school of creative lying. He also likes the (Playboy) girls. Does that remind you of anyone else? If Klinton hand't been our first black President, Ford might have something to shoot for.
Where is the thread that mentioned a female Ford?
ROFL!!!
Wait a minute. You're a lawyer if you graduate from law school. You get admitted to the bar in your state and can practice law if you pass the bar exam. I think it's fair for him to say he's a lawyer if he graduated from law school; he should just not say that he is a practicing attorney.
Perhaps you've heard one of the oldest jokes here in Washington?:
Question: "What do you call 100 lawyers at the bottom of the Potomac?'
Answer: "A good start."
You throw a rock around here and you hit a lawyer(liar). :)
If a Republican said he liked football and he liked girls, the media would be screaming that it was an anti-homosexual comment.

Ford: "...I'm a lawyer, and you know you would hope all those who are interviewed would be truthful and candid and forthcoming..."
