It's just a headline. Call me curious but for her to mention this means that the internals aren't showing good results for "Impeachment Talk". I guess she is trying to reassure us dumb folk

By the way, this picture is not a parody. It was commissioned for her and is titled "Madam Speaker." It was featured in this week's edition of the LA Times. Quite Stalinesque, no? Not quite the comparison I was going to make:
And fitting, too!

Hmmmmm?? How come I don't believe her .. MAYBE IT'S BECAUSE ONE OF HER IDIOT BOOT LICKERS HAS ALREADY WRITTEN THE LEGISLATION TO BEGIN ARTICLES OF IMPEACHMENT. And .. if the dems win the House, this same boot licker is going to be CHAIRMAN OF THE JUDICIAL COMMITTEE - good grief!
So I should believe Pelosi because ...........?????

Those steel rod implants...to the sides of her eyes...left eye is most noticable.
Are they there for structural support of the air on top?

That's exactly it... Even if we conceded that she's telling the truth (not that I am), she won't have the power to reign in the Charlie Rangels and other lunatic lefties. So I'm not buying it.

If I was dumb enough to vote for a demoncat what difference would it make if she impeaches or not. They probably want impeachments.

I got voter material in the mail for Champaign, Illinois. There is an advisory referendum question on whether to impeach President Bush for the war in Iraq and phone tapping. Evidently, the word never got out to the wacko college students and professors who managed to round up enough signatures to get it on the ballot.

this means that the internals aren't showing good results for "Impeachment Talk". Yep, the MSM is consulting with the Dem leadership as to which stories they need to shore up their numbers.

If the Democrats get their majorities, I hope they go full tilt with the MoveOn agenda, just as hard and loud as they can. That will give it all back in 08. I am afraid they will keep a relatively low profile just to remain viable in 08.

You mean sHE commissioned that portrait? It is awful! She looks sick and the whole scene is scary. Is that a prison behind her?

Yeah, Stalin was an Idiot Savant. Can't grant Pelosi the Savant portion. At any rate, the DUmpster is silent on this (yes, I use prophylactic network protection). Deflection, pure and simple. I have received three phone calls this weekend from different "pollsters". The liberals are in panic mode.

Congressman Pelosi can "reassure" us but frankly critical observers of the scene knew that already. Whether the NSA wiretaps are even illegal is still an open question being considered by the courts, and the rest of the left's complaints are just nonsense. Having a 3-5 seat majority (probably the best the Democrats can hope for) is not a majority capable of impeaching a President on the most questionable of grounds (and "questionable" doesn't begin to describe it.)
To: slowhand520
So, why is Pelosi all in a sudden worried about re-assuring voters about HER legislative agendas?
Could it be that possible, just maybe, the demo's polls are NOT showing them winning ...
Not winning BECAUSE Pelosi is (correctly) being seen as an extremist international liberal socialist?
