That's exactly it... Even if we conceded that she's telling the truth (not that I am), she won't have the power to reign in the Charlie Rangels and other lunatic lefties. So I'm not buying it.
I can't remember his name, but he's been cozy with Saddam's lawyer .. and at one point he was holding hearings (without any authority - because he's in the minority party), and an aide of the Majority Leader of the House (DeLay) had to tell this dem that he had no authority to hold hearings in the regular hearing room (and they were watching him on closed circuit TV). He was relagated to the basement and the media wouldn't play along.
