Got my ballot here, and the first race to pick is Tancredo (R) vs Winter (D) vs Woehr (L). Should I "teach Tom a lesson and (1) not vote, (2) vote for Winter, (3) vote for Woehr, (4) let Tancredo off the hook even though he is a RINO. My marker is at the ready, the first option to get 10 posts will be my pick.
Yeah, teach Tancredo a lesson and help the Democrats take over Congress.
Tom is loyal, he won't bolt.
I really thought that calling Tom a RINO would act as a "/SARC" sign. Only about 1 out of 5 realized it was a joke.
Never fear, Tom cleans Winter's clock.
I'd like to see the able Congressman challenge Senator Martinez when he comes up for re-election. I think he would have a good chance of dispatching this liberal liar. Martinez promised no judicial filibusters, but broke the pledge soon after arriving in DC.
Well you're tagline was 'too late smart' to be of 'substantial help'; but glad to hear; my first thought was 'how many these / ----/ are out there? :^)
Definitely vote Tancredo!
ANY Republican is better than ANY Democrat.
"ANY Republican is better than ANY Democrat."
You got it right, congrats! The thread was a spoof, though a lot of folks didn't get it.
We could quibble, Zell Miller (D) or Lincoln Chaffee (R), but they aren't running against each other, so your idea holds in the real world!
In that scenario I would vote for Lincoln Chaffee. It's the number of R's that count not the individual R. Zell Miller may be the better guy but say my vote for Zell puts the Senate at 51 Dem 48 Repub and 1 Ind. That puts the control in the Dems hands and one Zell Miller can't counteract that. And when I first read your thread post, I understood the point you were trying to make.
The humor of your post is so sophisticated, I don't even understand what's funny.

To each his own. Things are going so well for me these days that I was in a very good mood, and wanted to have some fun. I thought calling Tancredo a RINO was absurd enough to be humorous, and some agreed. I also wanted to take a jab at the "I'm PO'ed and not voting" crowd, which turns out to be very small, judging by the poll on the front page. Some people here take themselves too seriously, in my opinion.
It looks like you got the reaction you were looking for. I don't think the dims will discourage anyone from voting, unless its their own. I hope they really start to celebrate nest week. Libs always want someone else to do the actual work.
Keep everyone on their toes.
You got it right. I'm still making the whiners mad:

We aren't going to lose due to gripers who think they should dictate to the party.
This is the largest conservative site on the net. Look at the poll on the right side of the page, only 5.5% say they are staying home. That's 5.5% of the most conservative group around, and most of them live in states where the races aren't in play anyway. And, they have the nerve to call themselves the base. They are a fringe, they are not the base.
Stop worrying about these people. Most of you are just as conservative as they are, you just know how to face political reality, and they don't.
Vote Tancredo.
Already did, just as I alwys intended. The post was spoof.
