And a related article in the same newsletter:

Schuylar Crist Set To Bring Victory For Conservatives In The Blue Northeastern U.S.!

Next Monday, I shall be on a plane headed somewhere in the Northeastern U.S. At this point, New York looks to be a strong possibility, but I could also end up in Connecticut, New Hampshire or maybe even Rhode Island. I have signed on for a 2 week leadership role for a campaign to ensure our victory!

At the time of this writing, I expect within the next 24-36 hours to learn my final travel and lodging arrangements.

Never fear! I will still be continuing the newsletter while I am out of state thanks to my trusty laptop. I will do my best to give you a firsthand look at what transpires from wherever I am as well in support of Conservative values.

I will be among nearly 5,000 volunteers across the country taking part in the Get Out The Vote program by the Republican National Committee.

I am looking forward to this new and exciting opportunity for me and will be sure to make the most of it.

Also at the time of this writing, there is a chance my mother will also join me in the program, whether it be for 2 weeks or 5 days.

I do know that the Republican National Committee is seeking more volunteers to deploy as part of their 72 Hour Task Force. Please click on the "IT'S Time For Victory!" Banner above if you would like to sign up for this truly amazing opportunity!

SPECIAL COMMENTARY BY SCHUYLAR CRIST!

We as Conservatives MUST stand up and be counted!

We MUST hold our elected officials accountable and raise up qualified Conservatives!

We MUST Not settle for the status quo, becoming complacent!

We MUST lift up our truly Conservative candidates and office holders!

We MUST NOT abandon South Texas and the Nation to the Liberals! _______________________________________________

I am Precinct Chair for #2076 in Bexar County, and as all of you know, I am also the Media Director for South Texas Republicans, PAC. I am disheartened at the apparent apathy and complacency of Conservatives in South Texas, particularly in Bexar County. What happened to having the courage of one's convictions? We only fail ourselves, when we fail to stand for what is RIGHT! We have a wonderful group of CONSERVATIVE candidates, yet block walking logs remain empty. Candidate's campaign yard signs fill the rooms in HQ, and phone bank cell phones (at PARTY EXPENSE) lay on a table. We have taken initiatives no one else has, but we cannot do it without YOU! We have provided the tools, we have provided the information....but it is up to YOU South Texas to use what you have been given. We can take NOTHING for granted. We have to fight for everything we have. There is no reason at all to fly the white flag.

By betraying our values, we betray our nation! If we do not get our posteriors in gear, we will lose the fight to the Liberals. We cannot afford to put our heads in the sand! If we do...it leaves our backsides vulnerable to the inevitable whuppin' those backsides will receive. If we lose this election...when we look to point the finger of blame, we need do nothing but look directly into the mirror!

Yeah, more of the same (reckless spending, amnesty, high energy prices) is a very promising future :)

Yeah, we can ask questions, too!

What happened with being FISCALLY CONSERVATIVE?

What happened with SECURING OUR BORDERS?

What happened with Cheny's claim that "high energy prices are a sign of a failed presidency"?

What happened?

Why don't we let Chafee take the hit, and reelect the rest of them?

The GOP needs to spend the next month on the war, immigration and taxes. The theme: This is no time for Democrats.

On the war, "We have a plan: to win. Dems plan to lose." This won big in Australia, no one wants to lose. Stay the course is not a good slogan, too amorphous.

What you say is true. But many in the Party are unhappy with the way the war's been handled, the spending, the lack of policy on illegal immigrants and other things.

Some are saying (not me, but some)that the country needs two years of Nancy Pelosi, John Conyers, John Murtha, and the other crazies in the Defeatocatic House to get ourselves ready for '08.

I do know one thing, the current Congress is not the Congress I voted for in 1994; what happened to all of those people and promises?

This is the alternative:

Houseleadership lineup:

Speaker of the House: Nancy Pelosi Chairman, Ways & Means
Committee: Charles Rangel Chairman, House Judiciary
Committee: John Conyers Chairman, House Appropriations
Committee: David Obey Chairman, Government Reform
Committee: Henry Waxman Chairman, Energy & Commerce
Committee: John Dingell

The average age of these congressmen is 72. By contrast, Newt Gingrich was 51 and Dick Armey was 54 when they led the Republican revolution and takeover in 1994. Revolution favors the young.

Another number to keep in mind is 98--the above lineup's average voting-record rating, as scored by the liberal Americans for Democratic Action. Poor Dingell scores only 95. The Michigan congressman once served as a board member of the National Rifle Association. Obviously, this right-winger will have to go.

Not forgetting Supreme Court nominees, 2nd amendment issues and so on.

Missouri has a stem cell amendment to vote against, plus I want to see Talent kick McCaskill's as just on account.

The Foley "Wag the Fag" "scandal" has motivated me, but just the opposite way from what the Moonbats were hoping.

THINGS CONSERVATIVES WON'T BE EXPERIENCING ON ELECTION DAY:

1) Getting an AIDs test because you're worried about that girl (or was it a guy? you were pretty wasted after all) you "met" for one night a few weeks ago.

2) Can't vote, you have an abortion scheduled that afternoon and you're pretty sure you won't be up for standing in line.

3) Vote? Heck, happy hour starts as soon as I get off work and I'm not going to miss the free buffet!

4) Si no es en Espanol, no puedo leer...

They want to show the elites in our party that we have the ability to take out one of our own.

In other words, these "conservatives" want to show the party leadership that they are enemies of the GOP. Great strategy.

Nonsense. I want to take down Nancy Pelosi before she even gets up. So there. PHTHTHTHHT We'll take care of the riff-raff AFTER we win.

Yes, you can make a difference. Get up and move- NOW!!

How's this for a slogan:

Take One to Win!

What I mean is, each Republican who voted in the last election should commit to find at least one other Republican who did not vote, and commit (and even take) that Republican to vote this time round.

If just ten percent of the Republicans who voted last tme did this, we would not only hold Congress, we would likely increase our representation by double digits in the Senate as well as the House and put the Demoncrats on the mat for the count.

>>>My prediction: Conservatives will get out and vote this November but they want to take someone down.<<<

This conservative, and his wife, will vote a straight GOP ticket in November. Only a fool would let the continuous smear campaign of the Republicans by the media keep him from the polls.

Conservatives will get out and vote this November but they want to take someone down. I can feel it.

I think Conservatives will vote in droves. We're too smart to let anger or disappointment or the MSM's spin put Congress in the hands of Dimms and give them the power to choose judges, influence the WOT and begin impeachment hearings on GWB.

HOWEVER, I am looking forward to a robust primary season in 2007/2008. That is where smart Conservatives will demand changes.

The time to get rid of these RINOS are during the primaries
not just before the election.

I think the so-called experts get it wrong again.

However, if the Repubs do lose the House or Senate or both, the Dems will have overplayed their hands with Bush investigations and impeachment hearings, and possibly, pushing their cut in run policy for Iraq by trying to defund the Iraq war(Bush vetoes this), consequently, the Dems will lose big again in 08.
