Prayers requested for our stalwart FReeper JulieRNR21 and her beloved husband Richard. Richard is scheduled for surgery midday Monday in Sarasota for removal of a malignant tumor from his stomach. Previously, Richard was treated quite successfully for lower GI cancer. This new tumor appears to be unrelated to the initial malignancy (different cell type).
Julie, we are keeping you and Richard in our prayers.
May God's hands guide the surgical team, May God's Grace be Upon this Family, May Their Faith See Them through, Amen
The Lord be with them

Julie's husband Richard has all of our prayers .
I hope and pray all went well today and that Richard fully heals and recovers from this latest malignancy. It was my pleasure to meet you both in DC a number of years ago, now - hard to believe. God Bless you both!

Prayers for your husband JulieRNR21. And for you too.
Prayers going up right now for you and your family. I am praying tonight for another person facing cancer, along with yours. We take comfort that our God has all things in His hands.
The surgeon met with us about 6pm while Richard was in the recovery room. He reported that all went well during surgery.
After he was settled in his room, Richard was alert and talking to us. He even made numerous suggestions about where we could have dinner even though he won't be eating regular food for several days.
Today, I felt surrounded by your prayers which kept me calm and serene. We would appreciate your continued prayers for Richard's recovery from surgery and complete healing.
These words from Luke 8:50 have sustained us: "Fear is useless; what is needed is trust that he will be cured".
Wonderful news bump! Prayers continue for complete healing and recovery.
Prayers going out for he and his family. May he have a speedy recovery!
