Brian Williams of NBC news just made mention of the AP investigation regarding Senator Reid as he reported on the House page scandal. Many wondered if the mainstream media would mention it at all.
I read where ABC,NBC, CBS and CNN had a combined total of over 125 stories on their channels over the past few weeks on Foley alone. Not, quiet quid pro quo.
"I mean, politics is okay and all, but a man's gotta make the yacht payments."
How true indeed!
More details about Reid stepping down, por favor!
Heck of a Family Business he has going there.
TT
His stepping down...Biden speaking of it has been quietly discussed for several months now.
>>>>>>"Reid will step down next month"<<<<<
Was it a joke or?
TT
Not "MSM" enough until it is front-paged in the NYTimes...
I just forwarded a tip to ABC News as they failed to address the story or to admit that their news coverage is highly biased in favor of the 'rats. MSM need all the help we can give them.
Why? Is there a governors election in Nevada this year? Are they hoping that there will be a dem governor to appoint his replacement?
I sent three e-mails to FOX (Hume, Hannity, and programming)comparing two weeks of non-stop Foley coverage, vs. nary a whisper about Harry Reid's land deals.
Let's hope so! I guess he's going to kick and scream till the bloody end just like others in his party, rather than resign for the good of the party AND his country.
By the by...NV has a GOP governor, Guinn.
*Maniacal laugh* It's going to be fun watching them eat their own.
We have a better chance of being hit by:
Two sentences max. I watched.
it followed a long, detailed report on Foley's aide testifying for 5 hours today, who will testify tomorrow, and showwed clip of Bush campaigning with Hastert today.
Perfunctory
There was speculation floating a couple weeks ago that Reid would step down so Hillary Clinton could become the Dem leader in the Senate.
There were 2 theories on that:
1 - That the party were dangling that carrot for Hillary to not run for the presidency.
2 - That Hillary would prefer being Senate Majority Leader (assuming Dems take control of the Senate), as that would be a better platform for her 'leadership' than a polarizing a presidential run.
There had evidently been some flak about a 'D' after foley's name at one time, so they checked their archives.
A 'D' was shown after Nixon, Michael Jackson, and several others.
One minute story...tomorrow, NOTHING!
BFD. I'll be satisfied when they run 3 special reports a day on Reid. Of course I'll be satisfied when my wife lets me have a live in 25 YO girl friend. About equal likelihood for both of those situations to occur.
