Even if there was a page 10 years ago that was under age and did IM Foley this is long past the statute of limitations and it wasn't illegal back then. Still, if true adds to the creep factor. Somehow, I think it is completely fabricated. A B C = Always Brainless Commies.

IM got started in 1997 (ICQ) and AOL's IM (AIM) in mid-1998. IM wasn't in wide use until AOL got involved. I am highly doubtful that they used IM to communicate 10 years ago. In a college town it would. This was a sizable town home of a major university. It would have been primitive IM no doubt on a W 95 format.

This is one of the prime examples of why conspiracy theories are generally FOS.
You only get perfect conspiracies in books.
In real life they fall apart. Just too many places for error and too many ways to get caught.

This has nothing to do with GOP or DEMS this is right VS wrong. Correct...this is right vs. wrong.
It would be terribly wrong to get rid of Hastert over this.
Luckily, it looks more and more like that's not going to happen.

my thoughts exactly, why would the e-mails be benign and the IM's be explicit. Doesn't make sense.E-mail is not 'live communication', while IM is. When writing e-mail, someone usually tries to be careful. Meanwhile, in the time of passion while writing IM, somebody may write explicit words....
