Attorney: Foley Was Molested as a Teen by a Clergyman
WASHINGTON — Former Rep. Mark Foley was molested between the ages 13 and 15 by a clergyman, his attorney Mark Roth told reporters late Tuesday.
Foley also wants Americans to know that he is a gay man but he never had sexual contact with a minor, Roth said. Foley was admitted on Saturday night to a mental health facility, where he will remain for at least 30 days.
Roth said Foley wanted to release the name and religious affiliation where his alleged molestation occurred, but was advised by civil counsel to delay naming names at this time. However, details of the clergyman, the timeframe and the situation will be released when counsel advises Foley to do so.
Yes he is ... and Woodface is a totally arrogant creep, and any positive outcome possibilities had to be literally dragged out of him. He has NO concern for the impact of his words or the concept of the big picture and how vital high morale, esprit de corps, defeating the savages and keeping all Americans and allies on board is. His persistent call for W to be realistic should have been match by some semblance of reality from him. All about $$$$$$. I could just kick his sorry puffed up self.

Maybe he is just po'd that Foley's Follies have stepped all over his book tour.
Foley is just a normal homosexual, looking for fresh meat, and the younger the better. He has "gay rights", just like all the other gays who march in parades to show "gay pride" and convince stores like Wal-Mart (etc. etc.) to become more gay friendly. Congress has already caved in to gay rights, so it should be more friendly toward Foley. He's hasn't done anything wrong, he's just engaging in his "lifestyle", and trying to find some young stuff to sodomize. (this is sarcasm, for those who can't figure it out)
Forum guidelines prevent me from stating my opinion about this.
As I read the law, "use of a minor in a sexual performance sexual performance" is not an offense in itself. It's something that is taken into account to determine what level of sex offender a person is for purposes of the federal sex offender registry.

Yup .. I was thinking .. you just can't find someone's email addy so easily. I think that's bunk, but Foley probably had access to their personal records, since he made it his biz to be so involved with the pages, so could've easily gotten it through his own efforts.

Yeah, I'm familiar with his record. He's pro-abortion and voted for some minor restrictions.
On gay issues, he supported gay rights but was careful not to go "too far". Gee, someone might realize he was gay.

Just because he did Watergate .. he has achieved saintly status??? THAT makes me sick. I find it very disturbing. There is no way in the world Brit Hume should ever have to kneel at the feet of Woodface or any other journalist, yet he seems to, nor any reason why Woody should have such power. Why do they have this egomaniac mercenary on such a pedestal?? Just because of his credentials .. not his motives?
Watching Brit grovel to Woodward the other day made me ill. I worry about what is happening to the few journalists that I deemed trustworthy.
My first thought upon reading about his declining to name the church or clergyman was that he needs time to get the story straight. Wouldn't look too good if he names some church that wasn't built till ten years ago or a clergyman who wasn't there when the alleged abuse occurred.
